First time to eat at this place. Loved the excellent service and the food... Everything was great! The general tso chicken was... really good! We will be back for sure! My favorite Chinese restaurant in the Flower Mound/ Lewisville area. The food is always fresh and hot. The presentation is... beautiful, the egg rolls crisp, and our favorite waiter, John, takes great care of his customers. It has a small seating area,but worth the wait. Read more

My husband and I have tried this restaurant a few times and every time we visit, the service and meal is just amazing. My... husband?s go-to is the mandarin pecan chicken and the flavor of it is absolutely delicious. I?ve tried the crispy chicken andthe Sichuan stir-fry and both great picks as well. The egg-drop soup is also a go-to for me to start the meal. We alsoappreciate the service as well. Think we?ve had John every time, and he is always quick to serve and help. I have been looking for a new Chinese restaurant in Flower Mound because almost all of them have gone out of business...... probably due to Covid. China Island is tucked away next to a dry cleaner and it is FANTASTIC. They had 8 tables and wererotating people in and out at maximum efficiency. The Geneal Tso's chicken was the best I have ever had. It wasn't just frieddonut batter chicken balls like it is everywhere else.
