HOT: This place is known in the area to be one of the most dependable Tex-Mex joints in DFW. The guacamole is astoundingly... clean and refreshing, the food generally great portion, quality, and price. The only downfall was horrendous service. We reallywere surprised by how slow and inattentive our server was. I will chalk it up to the labor shortage. Be mindful that spicy istheir starting point. Everything they can make spicy, they will. They can make things gluten free!!!! I ate their chips and ordered a corn quesadilla, which you can’t find anywhere. All of it... was delicious. My only regret is not ordering guacamole as the small amount that came with my order was amazing! Read more

Great place!!! Where do I start?? Since I stepped a foot in this place it was great. Liz our server took our drink order right... away then Carlos brought the beverages, he was so friendly, Martín came next and made the guacamole fresh, it was delicious!!.Main dish Carne asada perfectly cooked, great taste, and the beans awesome. We LOVE Anamia's and have been going there for years and years. We enjoyed our visit last Thursday and the food was excellent!... We were on the patio but the music was SO loud that we couldn't hear each other. We had to ask 3 times before the music wasfinally turned down a bit. There was also a group of young moms with all of their children. The kids were left to run all aboutthe patio while the moms ate dinner and drank margaritas. They basically ignored their screaming children for hours and thatruined the evening for all of the rest of us on the patio. We asked them to have their kids sit with them but they rudely toldus to not tell them how to parent. I know people like this expect everyone else to put up with them and I'm not sure what therestaurant staff could have done but it sure was frustrating. We raised 4 of our own children and they would never have beenallowed to disrupt others in a public place. God bless those little ones with no role models to teach them how to behave andtreat others with respect. Read more
