So good I?m in tears My friends and I were eating dinner before homecoming and I was starving. When I tell you that garlic bread... tasted like it was baked with crack and angel tears I mean it. Our 1st visit was yesterday around 2pm. Pizza and garlic was fantastic. I think will be our "go to" Italian from now on
This place was very expensive and really nothing special to write home about. The food wasn't bad it just wasn't on par with the... prices. They serve a very large portion, although I would prefer to have better quality and a smaller portion. Taste was justa little better than your run of the mill italian restaurant. It was my first time visiting Alforno's, we went for my niece's birthday and I decided on the lasagna, It was just OK. On the... menu it says beef lasagna but I really didn't see very much beef, It wasn't your typical lasagna and the sauce was a littlebland. My appetizer was delicious, I had the cheese garlic bread with tomato oh also the garlic rolls are good too. Our serverJena was wonderful, matter of fact the whole wait staff that helped us was great I have no complaints on that. All in all ourexperience there was pleasant. The lobster ravioli is to die for, and the pizza was incredible! But you REALLY have to get the caprese and a salad with their... house dressing! It was our first time here, and we are always on the search for good Italian food. We will definitely be back!Next time I?m ordering a dish with their Alfredo sauce, because I hear it?s amazing! The dining room closes at 9pm and our options were limited. Alfornos was close so we thought we would go there. It was almost 9.... I hated people like "us" when I worked in the restaurant business so I kinda expected to be greeted with an attitude. There wasonly 1 other couple in the dining room so I'm sure the kitchen was pretty much closing down. We were greeted with a smile andthe waiter was also very kind. Didn't feel any attitude or pressure for us to hurry. The manager came by and asked howeverything was. We told him we would be done soon so he could go home. He said to take our time he was still going to be therefor another 45 minutes. He was very genuine and I would most definitely recommend Alforno's not only for the excellent food butalso for Outstanding Service and Hospitality. Read more
