Great food great service! Great ambience! Love how this place gives the look and service of high end restaurants but you can... dress casually. The foods tastes so good! We have tried their fried quail, steak and fish. All of them were mouth watering andhad numbers of delicious sides options! Kid friendly- for a change they also have changing station (IYKYK it’s a struggle tofind restaurants with changing station!) Even on busy days like Father’s Day their service was top notch! They always seem tobe very warm and welcoming with of course delicious food! Best dessert goes to blueberry crumble! Read more
We had reservations for 700pm on a Saturday night and waited for quite a bit of time to be seated. The staff did a great job... moving customers to a table as quickly as they could, served the waiting customers an appetizer and offered to serve drinkswhile we waited. There was an authentic attempt to be apologetic about the wait and to make the customers comfortable. We almostleft, but so glad we did not. Once we were seated, the service was top notch. Our server was friendly and very accommodating.Food was equally excellent. Try their poblano meatballs and smoked wings as an appetizer-they are sure to please. Thank you so much for the perfect date night ! You have to come hear the Angels sing when Devin brings out the peach Cobbler... from heaven !!! Devin is a rock star and made us feel like royalty . We had the grilled chicken and Brussels sprouts and itwas marvelous. You know it is good when you are fighting for the last bite and your husband won’t keep his grubby hands offyour plate. Do not miss the pork belly!! A colleague recommended 1845 while we were in town. We were treated with great, friendly... service. The meatballs and pork belly were fantastic appetizers. I enjoyed the prime rib French dip and some of the bestbrussel sprouts I’ve ever had! We ended the evening with a cocktail on the beautiful patio. Great experience! Read more
Nice dinner experience. We had a party of 11 and two servers. Very attentive. Steaks were delicious, prime rib was decent. ... The Mac and cheese was also really good, I suggest that as a side. I would have enjoyed it more, or at least the atmospherewould be improved with table cloths and wait staff that wasn't so casually dressed. But overall, 4 out of 5 stars for a highend meal. Read more
I ate here five times in one month and the service and food were spot on each time. This is an All Texas venue from the food,... art, music and spirits presented at this restaurant. It's pretty casual place but can be a fancy night out. My only gripe isthat they open at 4 pm every day that it's open. It would be a great place for lunch. If you're not in the door within the firsthour I would suggest reservations. The bar gets pretty packed also within the first two hours. Mainly from the locals livingwithin walking distance of the restaurant. This is a great place to take someone you want to impress for a date, prom or someonefrom out of town. They'll remember this place and the food. The menu is not long and tedious. They stick to the basics and do itover the top and with rich flavors. Most appetizers are for two, three or even four person servings. Order the 'Texas Expensive' if you have group of people (at least four)... It's not on the menu but your server can tell you about it. I've order all ofthe appetizers and you can't go wrong with any. The cocktail shrimp is my favorite. My ten yo son keeps ordering the chickenfried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He will not order anything else. All the salads are huge, well except for thehouse salad, it's more larger than normal. The steaks have been perfect and made to your choice of doneness. Drinks have beenmade with a heavy pour too. You will have to make room for the blueberry cobbler with ice cream. It's the house best seller andI can see why. Once you have it you'll make sure you order it again and even to go.
