The food was quite the let down, the staff was nice. I ordered them to go. As I was waiting there for my food, a customer came... back to return her pizza and cheese fries. The pizza was burned and so was the cheese on the fries. Okay, it happens I get it. Ireceived my order and took it home to eat. I opened the plastic bag and got my food out to discover they forgot my sides and mychicken was also burned. My husband ordered a chicken bacon quesadilla, it was mediocre and nothing to rave about. I calledabout my smothered chicken being burned and not receiving my sides, they were nice and credited my meal back to me. Go there fordrinks, but, do yourself a favor and eat before you get there. I typically have good experiences with Mattingly's, however, the visit & service we received yesterday evening was surprisingly... poor. Let me paint the scene: we arrived at 6:30pm and placed our drink orders (2-waters & 2-sodas...there were a total of 4people). The drinks arrived quickly, which was great. But, our waiter did not ask if were ready to order/wanted anappetizer...which we did. About 5-ish minutes later he returned and we placed the order for our 2 appetizers (Spinach Dip andFried Pickles). 5 minutes later, we then placed the order for our main course (1-pizza, 3-salads, 1-buffalo wrap and6-wings)...this was around 6:45pm. We chatted at the table for about 20-minutes before we began to wonder where our appetizerswere. We hadn't seen our waiter since we placed our order. Our waiter then swung by the table with soda refills, but he did notcomment anything. He also mumbled 95% of the time he was speaking with us; we couldn't really understand what he was saying whenhe would come back. About 30-minutes after ordering the apps, we finally received them. We ate the apps and then we waitedsome more. By 7:30, we started to look around for our waiter because he once again seemingly disappeared - he never checked inwith us on whether the food was good or if we needed anything else. Sure enough he swung by again with even more refills, butnever took the dirty cups and left the dirty app plates at the table. The waiter then took off again without a clear word. Mindyou, 3 of us ordered salads - mine was the most basic salad (lettuce, cheese and croutons only) and it was 45-50 minutes sincewe ordered those items and there were no salads in sight. We started to become frustrated because we were noticing the tablesaround us who had the other 2-waiters were coming in after us and were receiving their food in a reasonable amount of time...andthose waiters would frequently come back to them and check in on how everything was going. I usually love this place, but the food and service tonight was less than stellar. The bouncing from one place to the next,... because there isn?t a designated sign to pick up to go orders.. Didn?t care for that. Also, the food was.. Gross.. And I reallydon?t like to say that, but it?s the truth.. The cheese looks burned and the wrap isn?t visually or physically appealing.. Would be a 0 but it wouldn't let me post, wings had little to no sauce, mozzarella sticks gave no cheese pull and cheese came... out as a block leaving the batter behind, and the fried pickles were way to salty with half of them not even having pickles inthem just empty fried batter. I've been coming to this location for years. My last couple experiences have made me not want to come back. Most recently, we... arrived at 828, they told us the kitchen closed at 8:30. I explained that online it says the kitchen closes at 9pm, they saidthat the cooks decide when they want to close the kitchen. They should definitely include that on the website!!! There wereseveral other people there that were having drinks and also planned on ordering food, and the servers had never told them thatthe kitchen was closing. Read more

Have not been here in years and was really disappointed. Place was not clean at all. Server was horrible. The appetizers were... really good. My burger I had was disgusting my son's Burger same as mine was disgusting. We asked for cheese burgers and had tosend them back because they had no cheese. The pizza was nasty. Over all bad experience. I was telling my fiance how good thisplace was I used to work here 20 years ago I grew up with these people and it was a complete disappointment. Bathroom washorrible looked the same as 20 years ago. Looks like a new sink and the rest has never been upgraded. Hope next time I go backI'll have a better experience. Read more

This happened at the LSL location not the Florissant location! These are the mini corn dogs I got in my to go order. I called... to get a refund and they would only give me a credit. Our wraps were good, but I can?t believe anyone would serve these. Read more

We have been here once in the past and the wings were good as I remember them, but we came here around 7:30 on St. Patrick's day... and I would say it was a "meh" experience. I'm guessing it was due to the holiday, but they were out of a lot of appetizers andsides, and still didn't get one of my sides right. Plates are worded funny. It says it comes with two sides and lists chips andslaw on the menu for the plate, but I guess those are just recommendations. Broccoli was well seasoned and beer cheese good, butnothing to rave home about. I guess I'd be willing to try it again, but with the expectation to go for wings and beer, probablynot the other dishes. Read more
