I have been wanting to try out this place as soon as I saw that it was opening. I placed an order for pick up and it was ready... as soon as I walked in the door. I ordered the fried snapper which has so much flavor. The cabbage was so good. I can’t waitto try the jerk wings in ackee. Keep up the good work. Read more
Very underwhelmed! I went here because my friend spoke very highly of their food. I treated us both to entrees. I LOVE Jamaican... food but this was the most bland Jamaican food I have ever had. I literally only kept eating because I was in disbelief at thelack of flavor. The ox tails were tender but tasted like nothing. The jerk chicken wings were decent but again had zero flavorother than the spice. And the cabbage and rice and peas literally had zero seasoning or flavor. Like I said, utter disbelief.The plantains were definitely hard. I gave three stars out of generosity because the food was edible and wasnt “nasty.” Myfriend literally called me to apologize and said they must have had a different cook because her previous two experiences werenothing like this one. I had high hopes but unfortunately I cannot justify returning for the prices. Hopefully De Palm Treeopens back up soon because this place won’t cut it. Read more

I ordered the Ox Tail Plate w Cabbage and plantains. Good presentation. Smells very nice. Two complaints that I have are the... little bones in the ox tails and the burnt plantains. I actually cracked my tooth on one of little bones. Didn’t like thefact I had to fish out little bones in my rice and ox tails. Plantains we’re brunt and discussing. I Won’t be back . Read more
These plantains were disgusting! Def wasn’t expecting them to be deep fried! I was literally eating a Popeyes biscuit! The... cabbage or vegetables weren’t the greatest either. However the oxtails and rice & peas had a nice taste. Read more
Food was good. The rum punch taste good but I feel like it was a bit on the weak side as far as alcohol goes. The honey jerk... shrimp were a nice size and very meaty but it was pepper forward and that’s all you taste. The cabbage underneath wasexcellent. I also had a beef patty and that was amazing! Crust was nice and flavorful and meat was seasoned well. The chickencurry was good and spicy! The best thing ordered and the cabbage was phenomenal. Will definitely go back and get that. Read more
