We took my mom on a Sunday outing of brunch and wine. All was so lovely and delicious. I was very impressed with the atmosphere... and the quality of the food. Initially we wanted pizzas, but were informed that the chef wasn?t satisfied with the how the doughcame out that he nixxed all pizza for the day. It gave us an opportunity to try the chicken and waffles and the croissantbreakfast sandwich. All were wonderful. After brunch we went outdoors to enjoy the patio with a wine tasting. The scenery isbeautiful. I look forward to visiting again. Read more
This place almost has it all, right atmosphere but wrong team. There's a laid back approach to service that unfortunately is... all to common these days. I believe my expectations are reasonable, really it's just common courtesy. When people arrive greetthem, if you're busy and they're standing in front of you take 1 second to address them while you finish. Staff should be funbut attentive, it's a winery your cliental want to tip and tip you well, you can do better and you know it. Read more
Visited for the first time on a Friday evening for dinner and music bingo outside. Although it was very busy, we were well taken... care of by the waitstaff who were friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional. I can recommend the uncommon burger, thecrab and shrimp Mac-n-cheese, and the pavlova or brownie for dessert. Music bingo was a lot of fun and the overall atmospherevery chill. Read more
The Vineyard is such a wonderful place to celebrate any occasion or to just have a nice girls night out. I have been several... times and each time I am 110% satisfied. The food is delicious the views are beautiful and the property is inviting. Theservice at the Vineyard is unmatched. I specifically adore Millie. We visited this Winery this Saturday to look for a nice spot to chill and have some delicious wine. I'm not sure what the... owners were thinking. First, the buildings were all in a sort of "Florence" style. As we approached, some kind of hip hop wasplaying very loudly (I'm a fan of hip hop but it's totally discordant with the northern Italian vibe they seemed to be goingfor). We sat in a little courtyard under a gorgeous tree. However, we were soon asked to move because "we are replacing thetables right now." This was a Saturday afternoon as i have said, do you suppose the replacement could have been done during theweek - not during peak business hours? Ok, we grabbed our glasses and angered around the area. The view was stunning, especially for Texas. However, there were construction vehicles everywhere and some kind of moat construction happening whichruined the view. The person rearranging tables had a kid loudly playing in the only corner near the building we were allowed tosit. Between the neglected children, the music, and, frankly, the wine (the Texas selections were excellent, the CA wines wereforgettable), I could hardly recommend this place. This place has tremendous potential however the owners seem to not careabout creating a pleasant experience for customers. Perhaps next year this place will be worth visiting. Read more
