Woodstone is the best restaurant with buffet I have found or seen yet. If they had menus it would be just as good. There sweet... tea is just about the best southern sweet tea there is. Their sweet tea is actually the only time I drink tea. You just can'tbrag on the staff and owners enough. They are working right along beside everyone else to keep it going smooth. And everyoneis super nice and helpful. Again can't brag enough about how good this restaurant is. I guess that's why people are willing tostand in line waiting to get in. Read more
I'm not much of a buffet eater BUT I will never turn down a meal at Woodstone! My opinion is that this place has all of the... items you'd want to find at this kind of southern cooking BBQ place with the benefit of the food being executed well. I couldfill up just on their fish, chicken, sweet potato casserole, & hush puppies and be in Heaven! Read more
If I could give -1 star I certainly would. Just left this establishment because of the attitude from the short dumpy hostess.... They ask you pay upon entering which is fine. They then ask you to see the hostess to be sat, which is fine. Well this is whereit went south, hostess proceeds to take name and number in party. We question reasoning for this and was rudely told there is await. When we questioned why we weren't told of said wait time before paying she proclaimed she was the hostess and not thecashier. And was told we could get a refund if we had an issue. While getting said refund the hostess was still running hermouth. Not ever again will they get our money. Read more
Your normal buffet food nothing more or nothing less. No fountain drinks, soda sold individually by the bottle.
Went here after seeing their reviews. How can anyone rate this place so high?? The buffet was small compared to others I have... been in, the seafood was tried by the wife. She said it was horrible that Wendy's prepared food better (she HATES Wendy's). Itried the dried out BBQ with not much flavor. The chicken and rice was greasy at best with little flavor. The hushpuppies weregreat!! The peach cobbler was about gone and what was there was dried up. The waitress I must admit was excellent. As my wifesaid this was a twofer dinner. Woodstone is an outstanding restaurant . I went on a Sunday and of course there was the church crowd. I opted to get my food to... go and didn?t mind waiting. They are very organized and the food is absolutely deliciously worth it. Read more
