This place made my trip to Florence so much better! Here on business and had that craving for good Mexican cuisine they did not... disappoint! The service was top notch, the food simply amazing, and the people delightful. The place was clean and comfortable.I would give them 10 stars but Google only allows 5. We went there to eat and it wasn't overly crowded but close to seat capacity. There was only one server taking orders....and she... did phenomenal! Their food was delicious and very well proportioned. As for the service, our server Nirvana (Yes like the band)was super attentive and fast considering she was the only serving an almost full restaurant with 2 new cooks in the kitchen. Wehave eaten there a couple of times and have been happy with each visit. The Choripapas are really good! I would give them morestars based on Nirvana service alone but I'm only limited to 5. Short and to the point, food was exceptional and ambiance was great. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, I highly... recommend Salsa Y Limon. The staff there were very friendly and make you feel welcome. It was a great experience, and they donot try to rush you out the door once your meal is finished. Friends and I were able to sit back, talk, and let our food settlebefore we got up to leave and never once felt rushed to clear the table. That right there speaks a lot about the staff in myopinion. We were so glad we found this place! The restaurant was clean, the menu had a great variety, the food was delicious, the... portions were big, and the prices were good! I?m giving them one star specifically because the service was terrible. When me and my family walked in we weren?t greeted at... all. All of the staff seen us at the door and said absolutely nothing. We stood there for a good 5-10minutes until anothercouple got up, we were then told we could go sit down. When the waitress came to our table and asked us what we wanted to drinkshe didn?t wait to make sure we were finished nor did she ask us if we wanted any starters. She wrote down our drinks andliterally walked off without saying anything. The food at this place is really good, I myself grew up eating authentic Mexicanfood trust this spot is as close as it gets in this area. The whole time we were there she never checked on is or even attemptedto refill our drinks. When we were finished she didn?t bring us our check like she did other customers. So we literally had towait at the door for a good 5minutes to pay before leaving. Only one of the waiters spoke to us and that was when we were doneeating. She asked if we needed anything, I told her the check and drink refills and one of the guys spoke when he was picking upour plates an asked if we wanted dessert. Past that for the hour and thirty minutes we were there they acted like we didn?texist. We could?ve caught them on a bad day, but that was by far the worst service I?ve ever received.
