Very exclusive restaurant. Quite atmosphere. Very romantic place to take your date. Fine wines and premium steaks.
I gave it a 4 because when we chose this place as a group the prices online were within our budget ???? However when we arrived... and saw the menu the prices where higher. I understand the change in the economy but please update your website for those thatare traveling out town. We like consistency. Everything else was Great. Read more
Steakhouse with charcoal cooked steaks. Salad bar was execellent, self-serve. Steaks were good, although service was very slow.... Steak had too much fat remaining, wasn't trimmed properly before cooking. shrimp and potatoes were average, if underseasoned. Read more
I title this review: NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL!!!! My group of 12 just finished a race event and really wanted to enjoy our... time in SC with a meal before we would packed up and leave the next morning. I will share, I appreciate the fact they did makeroom for us while other restaurants had 1:30 hour wait times, reason they got the 2 stars instead of one. I called to see ifthey can accommodate our group and they said yes, if we can arrive in 15 minutes and we were 6 minutes away. When I got a callback from the restaurant after they shared they will accommodate us and they almost backed out, I knew we should have justwaited the time at the other restaurant. But they knew we were on the way and prepared our spot. On the outside, it was darkand appeared closed in a corner of a plaza. Pretty scary looking at night. On the inside, the place was beautiful, veryintimate looking & expensive, which is where I will go in further. The host, manager and waitresses etc was pleasant but whenwe saw the menu and the food prices my group and I thought ?Ok we are going to feast tonight?. We have no problem paying highend prices for a meal but the food better match the price!!! IT DID NOT MATCH AT ALL!!!! I mean, Peddler, how dare you chargethose prices and give a meal comparable to Denny?s or a low end restaurant. I had much better food at Wendy?s. The best partof my meal was the salad my group made for ourselves at the buffet salad bar. The French onion soup was salty, with too muchbread and the cheese was barely melted in it. My friends surf & turf meal was a steak with too much grizzle and shrimp on askewer. My shrimp meal was over done rice with 2 skewers of shrimp. The pork chop was good for my husband but the amount of foodon everyone?s plate was so minimum. My other friend was saying he can tell his potato was boiled not baked. Good food at least above average. Wife?s steak and my tuna both cooked perfectly as ordered. Nothing really stood out but the... Hi light of meal was the salad bar. The actual price of the steak was $7 more than the online menu advertised. I suggest theykeep prices updated as this can make a difference in choosing to go there.
