It has been years since I?ve been to Jumping J?s. It was still as good as it ever was. GENEROUS plates of food. We shared a... plate and took food home. We ordered the flounder and Callabash shrimp. We got two large pieces of flounder and a ton of popcornshrimp. The dinner came with fries which were really good and slaw and salad. The slaw and salad were small but plenty. We hadthe choice of two slaws or two salads. The hush puppies are unique. They are round like doughnuts and really good. I bought a shrimp dinner that they had on special this past Saturday for $11.95 but the shrimp tasted funny and I have tasted... better tartar sauce. The fries were ok but I must say the slaw and salad with that orange house dressing was really good. Iate some of the shrimp but did not want to finish them, thank goodness I did not get sick. Maybe that's why the shrimp dinnerswere on special Saturday(Aug 6 2022). Hopefully the shrimp does not taste likee that all the time. The customer service isgreat though and there were 2 ladies taking the orders who both had the nicest personalities they were very courteous, friendlyand made folks laugh. I don't now if they are the owners or not but some of the sweetest, bubbly personalities that I have everencountered in any business setting. Read more
Nice and clean friendly very welcome cashier was very nice...... Restaurant was clean, yes I would definitely go back and... recommend people. Keep up the good work, the food is very good outstanding. It's always a treat to go to Jumping J's. It was my daddy's favorite restaurant. So if we go by ourselves we send family... members pictures. They automatically known where we're eating. SO GOOD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE Read more
Oh my gracious, this place is amazing. The amount of food put on your plate is ridiculous! You will always need a box to take... home your left overs. The people are so amazing friendly and compassionate. This place is just top notch!! Read more
ONLY go here if you're truly hungry! Or bring a friend.... Because if you're not, that food just gonna go to waste! Huge... portions, delicious food, super fast! These guys do not mess around when they say large meal! I mean look at that box of food!That's all shrimp, and it has two big pieces of fish at the bottom! I'm no man versus food but I can put down a good bit offood in a sitting and I could not finish this box of food. The only thing that I can say is I should have asked for more oftheir sauce, the dipping sauce. Everything in the meal was absolutely delicious and I would go there again and again and again! The food was better than I expected. We just so happen to find this place while making our way back to VA. Even going through... the drive thru service was excellent. This was the shrimp and oyster I got. I didn't want the salad but I got a large for prettymuch $16. Read more
