I moved here from Texas so I am not particularly Wild about the barbecue. And I do not in any way mean that it is bad. It is... just not to my personal taste. The place looks clean and nice with Fair portions. Read more
Decided to get dinner from here while we were staying at a hotel across the street. I haven't eaten here in a long time, so I... thoroughly enjoyed a side of baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad and mac n cheese paired with their dinner rolls. We also got ahalf brownie half cookie a la mode (although the soft serve ice cream looked more like chips of ice after getting it out of ourhotel room freezer). Overall there were a few red flags I noticed with our experience that made me realize we probably shouldn'thave come there. First off our meal overall was very expensive, even with a coupon code. Also, when we got to the drive thru,the employee couldn't open the window all the way (it looked stuck). Then their internet was down, so they couldn't even seethat we placed an online order to pick up. Because my mom didn't have her phone to pull up the confirmation email, we had todrive all the way back to our hotel just to pick it up. Then it took longer than it should have to get the order ready to go. Wealso got 2 small drinks but considering that they were $2 per cup, we wished we got a bigger sized drink. The staff were VERY friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was great! The facility is run down and not the cleanest.... Enjoyed our dinner and the customer service in spite of the condition of the building and furnishings. Read more
The gentleman at the counter could not have been more cordial and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. My pulled pork... was tender, my fried okra and sweet potato fries were piping hot just the way I like them. There is nothing worse than coldokra. The only reason I did not give this establishment five stars is because of the building and it's surroundings. The tablecoverings were tattered, the dining room furniture that was not being used was piled in an unattractive way in the corner, theshrubbery outside could use some TLC, and the dumpster enclosure looked as if it had been assaulted. Hopefully these commentswill be seen as constructive and not as criticisms. We love Dickey's barbecue and hope this establishment will come up to thenormal bar of excellence we have come to expect from others. Read more

I wanted to like them, I did. However the quality this time was... The worst. All the fries were burnt, inedibly burnt. The... onion tangers we're literally drowning in grease.
