There is no neon sign out side of bar so maybe think just not that good however inside of bar looks good . They carrying many... different brands of beers and it looks pretty cozy and casual pub . Have Guiness and all others brands from other places . Chipswas good and there was active lady bartender serve for veterans. Have pool table and pretty many nice decorations stuffs on thewall . Really great food, really great service and just a fun vibe. In fact dinner here at Beachcombers was so good I dare say I've had... a better time in Florence, Oregon than Florence, Italy. Suck on that you Lombard dogs! Read more
Great restaurant to stop at while strolling along Bay St. Had the fish and chips, 4 pieces of fresh cod and lots of fries,... washed down with an excellent craft beer (Pelican Planet recommended by another customer). Ate at one of the outside tables, andour server Sondra was great, friendly and attentive. Would definitely stop in again. Read more
Went there today with my better half. Had a blast. Great atmosphere and staff was great. I read some of the reviews about it... being a local hangout, but while that may be true, we had a great experience. The chowder was superb, and the coconut shrimp wasamazing. Beer selection was robust, and they make a mean bloody mary. Definitely going back. Read more
Servers were decent. Place was clean... But $23 for one of their "signature" dishes that only had 5 shrimp... Yeah ????. Place... may be good for beer but not so good with the food... Tried this place again on the later evening of 5/23.... This time I gotthe "Garbage collector" hamburger... Ironically the burger was truly sublime and the cook was exceptionally polite. But thebartender tonight was sooooo abrasive maybe she would be better at sanding cabinets versus dealing with the public in acomfortable atmosphere. And soooo it's still a ?? place... If you like beer and you are passing through Florence this spot is a must-visit. Beachcomber has a great vibe and about 20 beers... on tap dominated by some of the best breweries in Oregon. The jukebox plays well chosen deep cuts of classic rock at a volumethat permits good conversation. My only gripe is that the bar food menu needs updating to include some solid vegan options, butI'm sure they will get around to that. I have been to bars in more than 20 countries and Beachcomber is one of a handful thatleft a lasting impression and rises to greatness. Excellent friendly and hard-working staff. Read more
We stopped here for lunch last month and it was super filling as well as a relaxed pub atmosphere. They were severely... understaffed which was tough, so service was slow but the two women working were really giving it their all so shoutout tothem! Fish tacos were delicious. The fish and chips were super greasy, and though the onion rings were advertised as the bestyou?ve ever had, they certainly were just sub-par. But overall we were really grateful they could seat us. Would definitelycome back for the fish tacos and to get some local beers! Read more
Good service and food. The plates here were tasty and full. You did not go way hungry at all. The beers on tap didn't hurt... anything either! The club was so much food, I could not finish it. Stop by and enjoy all they have to offer! Read more
