THE best pizza in Montana and worth all the negative comments. The ONLY thing worth ordering here is pizza and don't be fooled... it's legit the best pizza I've had in this state. However, everything else on their menu is just TERRIBLE! the sandwiches, thepasta, burritos, I mean everything else is HORRIBLE BUT THE PIZZA!!!!!! You've got to get a pie here especially the polarbear!!!! Also another HUGE thing to consider is the time of year you want to visit. During the summer there is no AC and thatmakes for a miserable date night sitting in the heat of the resturant and bar area. It's pretty bad when outside is cooler in 98f is cooler than inside. So in the summer get your pizza for pick up! I honestly feel this place could be a well roundedrestaurant with good dishes if they stopped trying to make other dishes with pizza ingredients. I returned to eat here several times. I've eaten the Herbivore, Carnivore, Omnivore, Philly Pizzas'. They were all... excellent. Last night I tried the Southern Pasta. At first glance it was soupy, way to much sauce. At first taste the bellpeppers to over the sauce. I could not taste the alfredo, the only word that comes to mind is insipid. ****Update**** Over the past several months I have given this place another shot. I branched out and have tried: The Pizza, The... Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich, and anther version of the Spicey Chicken Sandwich and all were Amazing!!! They were so delicious andsuch great flavor. The staff is friendly and Holly in the kitchen is an outstanding cook! Her food is spot on and consistentlyperfect! Thank You Bear's Lair for bringing great food to Florence, Mt!! The chips and cheese were disappointing, barely anycheese on the chips most of it was on the paper and chips were stale. Although the parmesan bread sticks were delicious! Read more
It's nice to have another place to go in this area. The decor and overall feeling is inviting and laid-back. We just came in for... lunch so we didn't hang out in the bar but we walked around a bit to see it all. Everyone was very friendly. Really wish theyhad a pool table instead of all casino machines in the back. I had chicken nachos. If you love cheese you'll really like theirnachos because they didn't scrimp on the cheese the chicken had good flavor but I like my nachos with a little more flavor andkick. My husband had the Philly steak sandwich with au jus and grilled onions ( he asked them to do grilled onions so if youlike those be sure to ask they are totally accommodating) He loved the sandwich and our friends tried it as well and said theywere going to get that next time.???? The spaghetti and meatballs, meatball sandwich were all devoured by the kids. So that'sgot to be a thumbs up. ???? Overall I think this place is good. You can tell it's new and they're still trying to get the kinksout but they seem to be doing it with a smile.
