Best coffee shop on the face of the earth. I will go way out of the way to get this coffee. I can't even drink Starbucks or... other coffee shops coffee anymore because I got spoiled on this coffee. They have different flavors every month related towhatever holiday or time of the year it is. And the menu is so fun! They also keep amazing options available all year long. (Been coming here for years but never left a review.) Great coffee w/ very polite & knowledgeable staff. If you know your... palette as I do, you can tell them & they can recommend a coffee that will suit you. If it's not on drip, they'll do a V60 foryou. While you can work from there (I have; they have great wifi), I think it's set up more as a place to meet people & chat. Isay that because of the many seating options in the center of the room or otherwise away from power sources. It's doable, butit's limited. It can get a bit loud when it's crowded (not overbearing, but you'll find you hear people's convos despite thefact you're not trying to). Whether that's a fun "buzz" in a busy place or a bit much will vary from person to person.Headphones or earbuds will do the trick, though. Plus, it's always good to see a small local business doing well in theseuncertain economic times. Please understand this is a craft coffee shop. As such, it's not the place to go if you want a quickdrink to go. Even if you just want a cup of whatever they have on drip, you may have to wait if someone ahead of you orderedsomething requiring a bit more time from the baristas. That's not bad service. There will always be a iced oat-milk latte from Velocity part of my heart. The coffee scene in our area is very vibrant but... Velocity is HANDS DOWN the best. The baristas are the BEST people you could have behind the bar. They know you by name and yourdrink like the back of their hand. They have a monthly menu of exciting, delicious seasonal flavors that avoid the monotony ofchain coffee shop?s menus. The atmosphere is full of life with people creating community around a cup of coffee. I have gone toVelocity for two years and I?ve NEVER had an unpleasant experience or drink. Very cool environment, great coffee and has some beans for purchase from some other local spots. **Note: if looking for a remote... work spot, it is pretty noisy and there is music playing, so if you need to take calls it may not be the right environment.Staff was very kind and answered some questions for me. We?ve been here two different times and I am really wondering why I haven?t come more. Amazing atmosphere, delicious coffees,... and fabulous pastries. Scones are delicious.
