Ricatoni's was highly recommended by local residents, so we were excited to give them a try. We were not very impressed. First,... our orders were to go, it took them forever to take them. When we got the orders, they they were lukewarm. The chicken tenderswere dry and overcooked, the veal was tough, the alfredo sauce lacked flavor and was runny, and the bread served with the mealtasted stale. This is located in an old building and it has loads of character. Italian places can be hit or miss, but this one has the food... down pat. We sat quickly during lunch hour and the waitress was there almost immediately. They bring you a dish with fragrantherbs and you add as much olive oil as you want. The bread came in small brown old fashion paper bags and was warm anddelicious. I ordered cheese stuffed ravioli with a tomato cream sauce which if I had a spoon I would have finished the wholeplate, which is unusual for me. My husband had spaghetti and he said it was the best he?s ever had that wasn?t homemade. Thebill was only $31 for both of us including drinks which was not bad at all.
