My brother-in-law told us about this place and we had to pay it a visit on Memorial Day! There was a line; however, you're... served very quickly. The banana boat was EXCELLENT and now I understand why there was a line. LOL!! There are benches in agrassy area at the back if you opt to sit and eat your item right away. This place has the best ice cream in the area, it's very affordable and the portions you get are huge! I particularly love the... variety of soft serve flavors there. I've never had any problems with my orders there, just know that they are cash only! Read more
Their ice cream and novelty items are reasonably priced. You get a lot of ice cream for your money when you get a cone of any... size. I would not bring small children here, as they wouldn't be able to eat all of it. My kids like to get their version of aBlizzard. I believe they call it a Flurry. They put a lot of toppings in, but 2 of the kids said their Flurries had a mintytaste. They all ordered Reese's peanut butter cup or Reese's pieces. So, there should not have been any mint flavor. I'mguessing the blender wasn't cleaned properly before their Flurries were made. I tried one of their signature ice creams calledSummer Celebration. It's a mix of vanilla ice cream, blueberry sherbet and raspberry sherbet. There was waaay more blueberrysherbet than anything else and it was the bluest thing I'd ever seen. I couldn't enjoy it because I was imagining my kidneysstruggling to flush all of that blue dye out of my system, lol. The raspberry sherbet part was delicious, though. All in all,it's a good place to go to get ice cream. Just be mindful of the fact that it isn't in the best neighborhood and someone mightask you for spare change while you're in line. Read more
I absolutely loved this place. I went here for the first time for a double date a few days ago. I got a large soft serve, i was... not expecting the large to be that big. It was twice the size of the cup. Also the little benches behind the banana boat were anice touch so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery as well as your greatly portioned ice cream. My cousin likes to say thatyou get a lot of bang for your buck, which i would have to agree. Read more
