OMG! This place is awesome. Love the vibe and energy. Everybody seems happy here. Portion sizes are great and in-fact probably... on larger side. Will definitely stop by again when in Flagstaff. Some of the biggest sized pancakes we have seen. Read more

Consistently friendly service and delicious food! I tried the french toast dish this time and it did not disappoint. Our group... of three went on a Sunday, and it's definitely a good idea to arrive within the first hour or two of the restaurant being openbecause it can get busy on weekends. Plenty of outdoor seating, too! Read more

Positive experience here the other day when my partner and I came in for a late breakfast/brunch meal. Located down a quieter... street, I didn't find any trouble grabbing parking, although it was paid. While the restaurant was fairly busy, I was able toget seated right away. Both patio and indoor seating are options. The cafe has an eclectic vibe, with the walls being decoratedwith all varieties of owl-related art. While there was a slight delay in our server initially greeting us and taking our order, she was exceptionally friendly and made some helpful suggestions about the menu. I opted for their biscuits and gravy optionand my partner went for their fried egg sandwich. I'm a huge biscuits and gravy fan, and my meal was fairly good - my biscuitwas a tad on the drier side and I would have preferred the meat they added to the gravy (your choice, I went for sausage) to bebetter incorporated in, but it was ultimately a tasty dish. My partner's fried egg sandwich was well done - getting it onsourdough is the way to go, and the egg and bacon paired nicely with the fresh, flavourful tomato and mayo. On another note, Iwas impressed with how quickly the food came up. On the whole, I enjoyed my stop here, and I would happily recommend thisplace. Read more

We loved the dog friendly environment, helpful staff and clean bathrooms. Getting seated was easy and our server got our orders... in quickly despite a lot of people waiting on a Friday morning. The Chai tea was excellent but everything else lacked flavor andmy eggs were cold and went to my dogs. Good not great. Read more

Flagstaff has some excellent breakfast options, and near the top of the stack is Toasted Owl Café. Great food, absolutely great... sevice, fun decor, lots of seating and wonderful outside tables as well. Located on Mike's Pike and Phoenix St, The Toasted Owlis a local legend with two locations, this being the original. We arrived on a Sunday morning to a 20 min wait, which seemsreasonable for a popular breakfast spot. The staff was quick to take our party to a table, and the wait was shorter than firstquoted. We sat outside, and they opened the table umbrella for us, which was kind. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which wastheir custom take on a typical toasted fried egg sandwich . It came with wheat toast, tomatoes, cheese, bacon and of course afried egg. It was excellent. My son ordered breakfast enchiladas which came with black beans, scrambled eggs and enchiladas withgreen chili sauce. Inside the enchiladas he had beef and they came with spinach inside as well. The food all tasted excellentand came out fairly quick. The service was phenomenal throughout. Our table had a lot of custom requests and the wait staffhandled it like pros, with patience and kindness. Truly great to find such excellence in customer service at this eatery. Ifyou're looking for a solid breakfast and great service, look no further than the Toasted Owl. Read more

Beautiful little spot in town. The staff was friendly, they had great gluten free options for my wife, and I loved my sandwich... and sweet potato tots. Unique decorations and atmosphere and would love to visit again next time we're in town. Read more

Beautiful, quirky, eccentric decor. I loved just looking around at everything. I got the GF almond pancake with chocolate chips,... and my hubs got the Spanish omelet. I only managed half of my pancake; it was HUGE! I have the other half with me for lunch. Ourwaitress was awesome, and their coffee is both hot and strong. This will definitely be a return stop whenever we're up inFlagstaff. Read more
