Amazing food!!! This was my first visit here and will definitely be back. I got the carne asada fries with spicy salsa and the... spicy chicken taco. Both were phenomenal! They were definitely spicy ???? so if you like lower levels of spice just be aware,when they say spicy they mean it! They were training a new employee and cilantro accidentally got placed on my fries (they don'ttypically come with it on so I didn't order them without), they were very accommodating and made me a new order without anyfuss. My husband and I stopped in after a day of hiking. He had the Native taco, carne asada fries and I had the All American Burger... w/fries. The food was awesome!!!! The owner cooked our food, was very nice and we had great a great conversation. I'm pickyabout burgers but that was fantastic!!! We will be back next time we are in Arizona!!!! Read more
Ok this place should have SO many reviews!! Absolutely 5 stars!! Don't pass up a chance to try this place! Drove by a couple... times and wasn't quite sure! Ended up going in there close to 9pm and they were getting busy. Freshly made EVERYTHING! We triedthe Chicharachos (Amazing!!) The green Chile chili cheese burger (also So dang amazing) and the Elote which tasted so fresh andit was delicious! Our friends also had the Fry bread and said it was SO good!! Even the fries tasted great!! Great customerservice, fresh ingredients, and the owner was so so nice! Wishing we would have taken a pic! We can not wait to tell friendsand family about this amazing hidden gem of a restaurant! Can't wait to come back to Flagstaff. You have gained forevercustomers!! Read more
Hankerin? always pulls through with good food and amazing customer service! They?re one of the few late night spots around... downtown but the food is good any time of day. The menu is simple and not necessarily health food, though you get to watch staffprepare items. There are no secrets about ingredients or cooking. There can be a wait, but they?re good about letting you know.In addition, if there is a line, it?s visible and you can tell when they?re busy. Thanks Hankerin? crew for consistently greatservice! Little place off the beaten path.. but WELL WORTH IT!!! Visiting from Oklahoma and on our last night I found this place. The... owners are super nice and wanted to make sure everything was cooked perfectly. We ordered 4 Navajo Tacos (back home we call themIndian Tacos). The fry bread was cooked perfectly and delicious! We wanted to try this place out after seeing so many raving reviews. Unfortunately our experience was the most dissapointing... meal out of all of what we had during our trip to Arizona. On a Thursday night, we placed an online order for takeout andreceived it being slightly cold / closer to room temp. The associate behind the counter made my husband walk around the countertowards the back to pick up the order --rather than giving the order to him to at the front. It seemed like a slow night and notmany people were at the restaurant, but it confused us as to why the food wasn't handed to the customer instead. We ordered thegreen chili burger and the native taco. The native taco was bland and lacked any sort of seasonings, however the fried breadwas delicious and fluffy. I had to force myself to finish most of it because I don't believe in wasting edible food. My husbandhad the green chili burger and was not impressed, but finished it regardless. We were very dissapointed with our meals becausewe expected bold flavors; however, we were so wrong.
