This place was awesome! Had such a great vibe to it. There were folks playing D&D, and then there were three tables full of... people just drinking mead, eating pizza, and hanging out. Loved the round tables representing shields, the leather chairs, andthe helmets hanging off the walls. The mead was delicious and a fair price. I ended up buying two bottles, one root beer and oneapple. Our server was Tyler, and we loved him! He was extremely friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and just a laid-back guy.Wish I had something this cool near me. I'm an out of town visitor. Would love to come by this place again when I visit family!Definitely stop in here. Great drinks and wonderful service. Read more

The atmosphere is awesome; it's cozy and... interesting with lots of Norse items and decorations as well as appropriate music playing in the background. This fun mead hall leans fully into the Viking history and experience, with borderline kitschy but admirable touches like... tabletops made of shields and light fixtures of glistening war helmets. We enjoyed sampling a flight of regular and seasonalrotations - making our selection with magnetic runes, another small but appreciated world-building touch - and particularlyloved the pomegranate, strawberry and unicorn blood meads for their juicy notes. If available, the Pinyon Jay and Metheglin aresome of the more unique flavors, conjuring up forest stillness and fireside warmth, respectively. Read more

The Mead Hall was an unexpected gem we uncovered while walking around the historic downtown section. Beyond the unassuming... storefront is a taproom with much effort put into the decor. The staff greeted you when you wandered in with a hearty hello andglasses of water. Then they helped you decide whether you wanted one glass or a flight for a sample of three or six meads. Dothe flight, there are many great flavors (my favorites were Lemon Ginger, Metheglin, and Mango Reaper). Read more

A must stop, even if you do not like mead. Before visiting the Drinking Horn, I didn't like mead. I've changed my tune. Get the... flight. Heck, get 2. I did. I had to try everything because it was just too good to be true. I loved them all. The atmosphere isreally great, but the staff are even better. Absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough. I honestly did not want to leave. Read more

Awesome Meed Hall which I might add is a unique experience from someone from outside Flagstaff and perhaps the state. The... Service was AMAZING and the Meed was one of my favorite drinks I have ever had, it truly was DELICIOUS and I wasn't sure if Iwould like it but I am glad I tried it with friends. I loved the open space of the hall and it felt warm, crisp, friendly,Publike, nice, Clean, but not super pretentious imo. I have been recommending this place to my co-workers and friends and I hopethey try it out when they go to Flagstaff. I will definitely be back if I go to Flagstaff and have money. Also, their drinks arereasonably priced, and my friend bought a horn of Meed for his friend as a gift. If you are also looking for a unique gift, thendefinitely give them a try! Read more
