Reviews for Dark Sky Brewing- Beer Garden + Atmosphere Kitchen in Flagstaff, AZ
Edit: I returned and was pleasantly surprised so I adjusted the stars from 3 to 5. This experience was totally different than my... original review. The portions were massive and delicious. We spent $50 on two meals and two beers. My previous experiences musthave been “off” nights. I’ll be back. The photo is from this experience.\n\nMy husband and I were really excited for thenew patio and menu, and didn’t want to leave this review until visiting multiple times. The patio is a great place to havedrinks (dog friendly), and the beer selection is unique and rotates. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre, and pretty overpriced. The dishes we’ve ordered have been *fine* but were pretty disappointing in terms of portion. The few times we’ve been, therestaurant was out of the advertised specials, which looked appealing, so can’t comment on those. I wish we were able to orderPizzicletta while sitting on the new patio, or that there were some more basic items on the menu (the food doesn’t match thebeer garden theme). Nevertheless, we love Dark Sky and will continue to visit for beers, but will probably get dinner somewhereelse. Read more
I was blown away by this place. I\'m gluten free but I was joining my beer-loving friends at this brewery. They said the beers... were amazing. I was overjoyed that they had tons of gf alternatives such as cocktail specials, seltzers, ciders, etc. To make iteven better they had gf fried cheese curds and I also had their watermelon gazpacho which was a daily special. I loved thefriendly vibe, the staff was amazing, can\'t wait to come back. Read more
Stopped by on our way through AZ, and happy to have done so. We split the chef’s special tacos, which happened to be beef pot... roast this evening. They were very good! The beef was tender, and the crispy potatoes didn’t overpower the texture of the corntortilla. I had a robot cowboy, and my dining partner had moving parts. Both were 4 out 5 stars. I would recommend this locationfor a chill hang out with friends. Read more
This place has a great atmosphere and moderate prices for beer. Unfortunately, the food is waaaaaaaaay overpriced for what you... get, though. No joke the vegetables in these photos were $14. We have gotten another app before with a similar experience. Read more
Take everything you love about the OG DSB taproom, only, apply it to a new venue. Amazing patio, beautiful indoor space, same... fantastic drinks (AND more, for those who seek wine, cider, seltzers, cocktails, etc), same amazing staff... About the only realdifference is Atmosphere kitchen, which, let\'s be real... If you\'re too stubborn to expand your palate to enjoy the absolutelyamazing grub provided by Chef Joe & crew, well, that\'s a personal problem you should try to fix! The weekly tacos, rippers, andfish specials are some of the best food I\'ve had. Even the staple menu items like the Chopped Cheese and Cheese Curds areleagues above other \"pub\" foods.\n\nAre you able to bring drinks back and forth? No. Are you able to bring food back andforth? No.\nEach is its own unique experience.\nEach is its own beautiful entity.\nEnjoy one or the other. Or both in oneday!\nLife is short. Make it easy, enjoy it, and live on. Read more
Fantastic food and solid beers. Lots of variety. We have eaten over 1/2 of the menu and every item is delicious. Happy to have... decadent gastro-pub grub in a bleak food town. Simple and efficient counter service. Staff is friendly and helpful. Ignore thenegative Nancy reviews, those people sound miserable. Personal recommendation, get the cheese curds A+ and the burger withouttomatoes FTW!!! Read more
Great beer and cocktails! The food was interesting… but the beer and cocktails are as good as ever. The beer garden is... directly attached to the brewery but, keep in mind, they are totally separate things. You get all the same beers you can at thebrewery but, at the garden, they now have fun and delicious cocktails that you can’t get at the brewery. It’s a funatmosphere that had a large dog friendly patio. Definitely worth a visit. Read more
Hands down the best brewery in Flagstaff. My wife and I drink a LOT of beer, and we come here regularly because there’s always... something new and interesting on tap. They are definitely masters of hazy IPAs, but they’ve really upped their game with allstyles like German beers, their English bitter, and sours. Only knock against them for us is lack of vegan options, but we justlook at it as a brewery first, and it’s outstanding for that. Read more
