The food was low quality and the prices were high. Way overpriced. I also found the food too sweet and bland.

Excellent quality, great price, and serving size. Ordered the sweet barbacoa burrito, enchilada style. This was fantastic!! ... All of the tortillas are handmade in front of you and everything was very fresh. The meat was very tender, flavorful, andplentiful. The sweetness was perfect..not too sweet and paired perfectly with the other flavors of the meat. Once assembledthe entire burrito is covered in cheese and salsa of your choice and sent through a warmer to melt the cheese on top(ifenchilada style)!!! The tres leches cake was also incredible. I visited them 2-3 times since the last review.Everything is back to normal: decent size... portions, fresh ingredients, impeccable service, staff is friendly and attentive to customers?requests. ******************************** 6-19-21 to go order - ? ? The girl who made my order was not friendly and rushedme thru it even though there were nobody else in line (neither in front of me nor behind). She was very skimpy on the steak andguacamole. When I asked for some more guacamole she said it would be an extra charge. I literally got just half of the scoop. We went in on Taco Tuesday. There were only two guys working the front line and the back Grill. Those 2 guys were flying and... doing a great job. We beat the afternoon Rush. But it didn't matter. Those 2 gentlemen held that whole line. Faster than peoplecould call out the orders.. . I've been eating here for approximately 4 years. The food is very consistent. Surprisingly good food. Cafe Rio isn?t in Canada so I thought I?d try it and I?m pleasantly impressed. Fresh tortillas, open... kitchen so you can see the food, and the flavor was so on point - way better than typical Mexican chain or even full servicerestaurants. Highly recommend. Read more
