The staff includes some of the most genuine people you'll have a chance to meet. Cozy furniture and decor help create a relaxing... atmosphere, ideal if you need to decompress. Additionally, Kratom or kava are fantastic if you struggle with chronic pain oranxiety. Im a regular and definitely suggest going if you haven't yet! Read more

Awa Kava is such a cool little spot. I stopped here with a friend on a Wednesday night and this place was surprisingly busy.... This place is complete with board games, a fire pit outside, and a cool vintage-house aesthetic. We asked the kavatender whatwas good on the menu, and he recommended the Tongan kava with caramel flavor. The flavor was pretty bitter but had a pleasanteffect. I loved the atmosphere more than my drink, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Hoping I can try one of theirdifferent menu options if I’m ever back in Flagstaff. Read more

First experience with Kava and this place was incredible. Judah (sp?) was behind the bar and super friendly. Fully understood... my newness and explained his take on Kava. I gave home some basic tastes I was looking for and he mixed up a hot Awa LavaLatte… it was awesome. I hung out and took in the vibe scrolling through my phone nonsense. It was a super neighborly place.A few regulars came in and hung out, a couple of people with dogs. There’s a sitting area and a bar area as well as a fewsmall tables inside. The outside patio looked good but it was not what I was looking for. They don’t mind if you bring foodto eat there. There is a parking lot out back to avoid having to pay for street parking I had a muddy chai as my second drinkand enjoyed the kava numbness on my tongue. Had the greatest dreams that night. Will be back when I’m in town again. Thanksa ton Judah. Read more

Happy to find this nice small city that has normal civilised vibes instead of toxic masc wild west ones. We really liked this... small coffee place too, and we thought that it would have some San Fran standards at least, if not even European, but, unfortunately, we were hugely disappointed again. It s more of a glittering cover than a proper high quality place. Espressosare this watery, burned, gas station quality thing that they dare to call espresso. Just being overpriced and nicely wrappeddoesn't make you a specialty coffee place. I have to admit, though, that the ambience was fine and the personnel friendly. Read more
