A friend and I stopped by the Cowboy earlier this week in hopes of grabbing some dinner. We first went to the restaurant side,... but only saw one other couple eating and no waitress. After a few minutes with no staff passing by, we walked over to the barside - no biggie. We weren?t sure if we should seat ourselves, so we patiently waited next to the bar and tried to catch abartender?s attention. After several minutes of being blatantly ignored by the two women working, we finally gave up and left.There is absolutely no way the bartenders didn?t see or hear us. Instead of wasting our time and money at this unwelcomingestablishment, we drove a few miles down the road and found Wild Flower Kitchen in Absarokee. The staff was extremely welcomingand friendly, and the food was amazing! We were more than happy to give them our money and I know where to stop/not to stop nexttime I?m in the area. Read more
Ordered food to go. Got a french dip with fries all good. Besides that the sandwich was placed on top of a pickle. And... completely soaked the bottom bun... Gross Read more
To begin with the table we sat at was dirty but they cleaned it kind of as we sat down, so I?ll let it slide. It was decent... until we received our food a literal hour and half later with very minimal interaction with our waitress. When we said if ourfood isn?t here in 10 minutes we?re paying for the drinks and salad she looked at us like we had 2 heads. We got our food and itwas good. But we were never asked if we wanted an appetizer or anything knocked off our bill. Overall it was horrible I wouldsuggest no one to eat here. Read more
8 of us had dinner this Sat night with a reservation. We were seated right away. We all ate different things from prawns to... chicken fried steak and the best prime rib dinner around. Their burgers are awesome and the little waitrss was amazing asalways. This has easily become our favorite place to go.!!????? Read more
The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a large group so we were told we would be eating in the bar but it... is kid friendly. I do not consider a nude picture on the wall kid friendly. It was nice to find a restaurant in the area thatserved dinner. Read more
The service was great, thanks to Trish. The food ... horrible. The "homemade fries" would have been great had they not been... cooked 15 - 20 minutes too long. They were so overcooked that we could not eat them. Same thing with the country fried steak. There was absolutely no seasoning on anything. I ordered a steak that had NO seasonings, not even salt - but it was cooked asrequested, rare. The country fried steak was over cooked, like the fries and the homemade fries were inedible because they wereso overcooked. I had heard how great this restaurant was, but I am not impressed at all. Absolutely terrible service. Sat and waited for 3 or 4 minutes at the bar to get a drink. Two waitresses were even standing back... there. Waited at least 5 minutes for a menu and another 10 to order, and they forgot my order entirely. Never again. Read more
