We had our wedding at Valley Mills Farm in the summer of 2022. We purchased a microwedding plus (48 guests) 1.5 years before our... wedding date. The microwedding package included the vendors including Take Out 250. I looked at their menu online beforecommitting to the contract with the venue to ensure I would enjoy their menu options because food was a very important part forthe wedding planning process and I am very picky. We were disappointed to learn that the ?fruit/veggie tray, salad, dinner roll,meat, and two sides? included in the package was a very limited selection and did not include the items that I looked forward tofrom their website. When discussing tasting options with Take Out 250 before making our menu selection, they stated we couldsample two meats and two sides only. When asking if we could purchase a sauce for the chicken (because I am not a fan of meat)or additional small plates/appetizers for an additional cost to us, they were unable to do so because of our specificmicrowedding package. We settled for the choice of chicken, mashed potatoes, and honey dill carrots after also sampling theshrimp and roasted red potatoes; as the chicken and mashed potatoes paired well together and the chicken was juicy. However, onthe day of our wedding, I (as the bride) did not enjoy the house salad with ranch, the chicken was very plain and dry, and themashed potatoes and the carrots were fine but not exciting nor what I had always envisioned for our wedding. I only ate themashed potatoes. Also, we were told they did not have dinner rolls to provide at the reception when my mother asked the catererduring the dinner. There are not enough stars to adequately rate Take Out 250 Catering Company! We needed to plan our daughters wedding in a short... amount of time at a remote location and are so glad we met with Pam at the start. She connected us to a florist (Faded Poppy),photographer/videographer (Rettig Co. Photo & Films), and DJ (Event XTC) - all amazing - in addition to catering our event withan excellent staff and great food. The day of the wedding with temperatures close to 100 - the venue AC did not function and itwas really hot - and where the food was being set up even hotter. Pam and her team did not miss a beat - they added smiles tothe sweat and help the whole event carry through despite it all. Our guests raved about the food and Pam's team equally. 250 Catering was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Not only did Pam answer my (many) questions in the... time leading up to our big day, but she did so in a helpful and kind manner. The food was also great! And on top of it all, whenour cake baker cancelled on us the day before the wedding, Pam worked with us to arrange a two tier cake for us to cut andcupcakes and sheet cake to serve all our guests.
