Reviews for Zoup! in Fishers, IN
Highly disappointed! This was my first time patronizing the Zoup! location in Fishers at iTown. I?m a huge soup lover and when I... saw lobster bisque was on the menu (with a few good reviews of it), and this dining establishment was close by, I was more thanexcited to partake. I ordered my food (the largest size of soup available there) around 6:10 p.m. tonight online, and it wasscheduled to be ready for pick-up at 6:24 p.m. I arrived at the dining area at around 6:27 p.m., only for the manager, Laura, totell me that ?the lobster bisque didn?t look good to her and she could not serve it.? She then said ?I guess I could have calledyou but I didn?t have your number, sorry.? When she was reminded that I ordered online, which required my telephone number, shethen said, ?Oh wait, we do have your number.? Laura then began to offer the other soups they were said to have available - noneof which I wanted or I would have ordered them, I declined. Laura then bagged up the two brownies I ordered as well to which Ideclined. It was agreed that she would contact the owner, Tom Brown, to initiate a refund which would she said would takeapproximately 2-3 business days to process. I asked for a cash refund since I was not satisfied with that refund time frame (andalso so I could spend those monies elsewhere for dinner (like most other restaurants and consumer stores offer). Laura advisedthat they could not offer a cash refund. Not even for a huge mistake and communication error on the establishment?s behalf?!Bizarre. I am so disappointed in this experience and will most likely not be back. My hard earned, FIRST RESPONDER funds payfor good customer service, only. Read more
Friendly Staff and cute store
Zoup! is a family favorite for a quick bite to eat. They have a variety of soups, sandwiches, and mac n' cheese options.
My wife and I went there once and the food was pretty good. We aren?t in the area often, but we decided we would come back next... time we were so that we could try some more food. So next time we came to Indy we made a 20 min detour to go eat at Zoup. Whenwe arrived the open sign was out front and we proceeded to unload our kids and walk towards the building. One of the workersthen came out and told us they were too busy catering for the church that they couldn?t serve us and then took down their opensign and took it inside. This was a major disappointment and a waste of 40+ mins. Not to mention my wife was pregnant andcraving soup. We likely will not be back due to this experience. Read more
