Pretty tasty! We got the bao buns - the meat reminded me of Chinese takeout chicken pieces with a bun, veggies and yum yum... sauce, which was a good combination. They took it off our bill because we waited about 45 minutes to get that or any food due toa mess up. They were very apologetic about it and it was a busy Saturday and they only seemed to have one waiter working who wasalso the hostess so it makes sense. Next we got the Korean noodles with shrimp and the vegetarian pancake. The noodles were wellcooked lo Mein and had a nice, slightly sweet flavor, and the pancake was lovely, light, and had a nice ginger sauce. I ate itwith a bit of sriracha added for some kick, it was just a bit burnt on the bottom. I also enjoyed the decor, it would be a cuteplace for a date although the tables were pretty close to each other. When I go to a restaurant, and since I work in the industry as a chef , it takes a lot to really wow me when it comes to a... dining experience but I was very much ?wowed? tonight and I love when that happens. From the moment we walked into this place,I noticed the ambiance, the decor and the feel of the restaurant, we were greeted and welcomed by genuinely happy staff: Ourserver Manley, took the time to discuss some of the menu answer any questions and patiently waited for us to order, along thedining experience he also told us about himself and went out of his way to get to know us as well. It was genuine and unfilteredand I can?t tell you how refreshing and uplifting it is to get good service let alone GREAT service like this. It?s rare, and Ifeel like most establishments and especially now it?s almost non-existent so when you do get great genuine service it blows meaway. Manley than thoughtfully thanked us and asked our names and we got to confirm his. I know it?s not much right? To askyour diners their names, what stands out is this simple act of getting to know us, genuinely thanking us and hoping wereturn. Here is the cherry on top, the food was some of if not the best I?ve had on the north side and in Indianapolis/Fishers.I could tell with the presentation, the first couple of bites that whomever was behind the creation of this food genuinely puttheir love, attention and detail into what they were making and serving (Come to find out it?s Manley?s Mom and Dad who arebehind the operation, along with him) I?m sharing this to confirm my renewed faith that there are still really special gems andestablishments that are most deserving of our business and who deserve to be praised because they are fleeting and so whenyou/we stumble upon them I feel it is our obligation to spread the good word to make sure these types of places don?t go away. My wife and I tried Tiger Lily 2 for the first time last night and we were blown away by how good it was. Everything from the... ambience to the service and the food were spectacular. Our server was very personable and was able to make severalrecommendations that panned out to be delicious. Our meals were delicious, and we were very happy with how fresh and tasty theingredients were. Also, they can spice things to taste, so the Korean chili sauce that came with my bowl was fantastic. We alsotried their house-made kimchi and it was delicious. We definitely recommend this place, and we will definitely be returning! Read more
Food is hot and fresh and very flavorful. Owners are terrific people that are dedicated to providing a good product. Always very... clean and staff are friendly.
