Blown away by the food, speed and price/value. For sure adding this to our list of regular spots. We got the city sampler and... it easily fed me and my wife. Can't miss item: The hush puppies. Place expensive and you don't really get that much for your money. And some of the stuff you do get there's a lot of fat in it.... But when you do get some good pieces it is tasty. If you have a pretty good size family going there with a happy appetite expectto have a pretty hefty bill. Read more
It's ok but crazy over priced! My friends make better BBQ in the back yard, the average roadside place in TX puts this place to... shame. If they charged half as much it still wouldn't be good enough to choose over a pizza or Mexican food or whatever. Servicewas fine though. Read more
Pretty good BBQ, a little pricey but what is not these days. I wish the quantity was bigger on the meat. I got the brisket very... tender but lacks bold flavor which was disappointing. The sauce or BBQ was good. I also got the ribs, which were also verytender but were flavorful. The potato salad is really good The corn casserole was okay. Hush puppies were okay. Decent barbecue for the Indy area. I purchased a sampler plate to share with my family. The chicken breast was terribly dry -... basically inedible. But their ribs are solid, very tasty. Their brisket was thick cut and a bit too fatty for my taste. Thepulled pork was alright, not too bad. Their cornbread, Texas toast, baked beans, fries, and macaroni and cheese were allmeh... I deducted two stars for cleanliness. Everything felt sticky. The soda machine looked nasty, none of us dared to useit. Their decor was dusty and sort of gross. However, the tables and chairs were clean and the kitchen looked well kept. Asfor their staff, they were all super friendly. Their prices are quite reasonable and they had no mechanism to guilt us into atip, thank goodness. You order at the front and help yourself to silverware, plates, sauces, and drinks. When your order isready they call your name. I'll definitely be back to try one of their many sandwiches. Read more
