The chicken was pretty good, but the gravy was not my thing, neither was the rice and beans. What made this place worth my... money and time spent there was watching the employees there interact. They were one a great big family. A Santa and Santa'shelper came in after a shift nearby and they ask acted so excited ... the entire team came out for a picture with Santa. Eventhe girl at the drive thru asked the person in line to hold a minute (not trying to get anyone in trouble, they were SUPERQUICK!) They were all laughing having Great time! The gal that helped us, helped us with coupons so we go the best deal for ourbuck! I would go back just because of the help there! No other reason at all... DEFINITELY not because of the food! You gotta try their blackened chicken! Most people have no idea they even sell it as it's not on the menu, but it's been... available at every Popeyes I've been to. The only catch is they have to make it fresh each time you order, which doesn't botherme, but know it will take about 5 mins. I'm happy to wait. And if you didn't know, Popeyes has the best spicy fried chicken ofall time. One last tip; ask for their "Cajun Sparkle" seasoning packets and mix it in the mashed potatoes. You can thank melater. This was my 2nd time to popeye's. Ordered chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. The food was absolutely delicious. The... biscuits were delicious and so is the macaroni and cheese. The problem is I got about one tablespoon of macaroni and cheese.That little container was not even close to halfway full. Literally 3 bites of macaroni and cheese. Been a while since I have been to this location. When it first opened it was amazing and fast. Within 6 month it went to... terrible foot that was old and fried in old oil. I didn?t go back for a couple years then tried it again last night. Waitedat the register inside (as the drive through was very busy) for 10 minutes and no one would even make eye contact or take order. They locked the doors while we were inside. Never did get our order places and when I got out a guy outside said he waswaiting for 30 minutes outside as they told him to pull forward from the drive through and they would bring home the rest of hisorder. They don't have Popeyes in Fort Collins so every single time I drive south I hit this joint up. I like me a good spicy chicken... sandwich and don't want to break the bank so this place has been my go to compared to other places.
