There were 7 people in our family, we called within the hour that we wanted the reservation. They were very quick to get our... table ready. The food was delicious. 2 had the cod, 2 had the vodka rigatoni, 2 had the tortellini nanna, and 1 had a pizza. The bread with dipping oil was fantastic. Most took dessert home for later. The service was 5*, everyone was attentive andpleasant. We went there often when we lived in Nj, we now live in VA and try to visit at least once when go back to NJ. Fantastic dinners and the pizza is spot on. Joe and Sal are great guys. Highly recommend the sea bass, anything vodka... (fantastic), chicken Parm, anything really. Everything on the menu is delicious. Just also used them for catering, nothing shortof the best! Read more

Update: we dined in on Friday night. Ordered a crispy chicken salad, cream of bell pepper soup, a whole wheat pizza, and pasta... with broccoli with garlic. The crispy chicken was just ok. We got pasta fagioli instead of the cream of bell pepper soup. Theworst was the whole wheat pizza. A week prior the dough was moist and looked like it was handmade because it was thicker andthinner in different parts and bubbled up on the crust. This one was inedible. The same thickness and shape all the way around.Tasted horrible and the cheese was so oily. Definitely pre-formed. When asked, we were told that it was the same dough theyalways use. We disagree because it tasted like 2 other whole wheat pizzas in the area that are absolutely disgusting. Thankfully, it was taken off our bill. We've been here a number of times because the food is good. When we walk in the guys atthe counter are always friendly and welcoming. Today we dined in. Only one other table occupied. We ordered 2 salads and 2 wholewheat pizzas. Disappointed that the salads and pizzas arrived at the same time. Usually this place serves the salads before themain meal. One pizza was correct, the other was not. We got a white dough pizza instead of whole wheat. The exact same thinghappened the time before this when we dined in also. Not sure where the breakdown is happening. Is the server entering the orderwrong? Is the pizza maker not reading the order correctly? We had to get up and go to the counter to make someone aware of theerror because our server was in the back of the restaurant eating (not sure of her name, but she's not friendly). No one came tocheck on us while we were eating; just dropped the food off and walked away. They offered to give us the incorrect pizza whichwe dropped off to a friend. Also, we were charged for 2 fountain drinks when we only ordered 1 Pepsi. On a side note, I love thecrispy chicken garden salad, but the chicken tenders have been horrible lately. We were driving from VA->NYC and saw La Galleria pop up on ?food near me? it sounded adorable, so we stopped for a late lunch.... BEST. ITALIAN. FOOD. EVER. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable as the restaurant isfamily owned. Great location as well off the beaten path, the prices are not bad at all. So thrilled to find this amazing littlerestaurant, will definitely go out of my way to come back. Read more

Great food, great pizza dough (if you wanted to make your own). My fave local pizza spot. Super friendly staff
