I waited nearly 2 hours in an unorganized line for a pre-paid order to finally get to the front of the line and one of the main... items I wanted was sold out. How can you sell out of an item that I prepaid for 2 weeks in advance? Then to top it off, one ofthe items I did receive was spoiled. Please do better. Read more
I just spent 2 hours in line at Honey Baked Ham in Ferndale. This is the day before Thanksgiving so I expected to wait to... pick-up my prepaid order but when I got to the location it was total and utter chaos. Two lines winding down the block. Noclear instructions for pickup, no information from the staff, and hundreds of very angry people. This was the third pickup I wasdoing for the day with prepaid orders all and the only one that seemed to have no organized system to process the completelyforeseeable holiday rush. After two hours when I finally reached the front of the line my order was not ready (again, I had ascheduled pickup time for 4:30 pm, it was now 6:30). Employees were walking around aimlessly looking for orders to pick. I hadto confirm my order three times with them even after they scanned my prepaid bar code. Ultimately I had to tell them how much Ipaid for my order so they could find it. It was total chaos inside with no organization and no one in-charge. I don?t blame theemployees, they were clearly doing their best. However, the franchise owner and store manager clearly dropped the ball. Therewere little kids standing in the cold for hours with their parents. Elderly people with walkers. Wheel chair bound customers whocouldn?t even enter the store. We have ordered from this location many times, mostly on holidays and usually with a 15-20 minutewait but never anything like this. I?m sure it?s a fine store not on a holiday but we will never order from this locationagain. Total nightmare. Read more
