$26-$46 for a bottle that barely holds more than a single can, for Mead that could be considered average. (A single can holds... 255ML, a bottle of Shramms holds 275ML) It's not a bad flavor, and it does run smooth, but it absolutely does not stand outmore than any other variant of mead. The reason we were in town and they did not disappoint. Quality and passion touch everything these guys do. The staff was... amazing from the owner to the bar staff. The mead? IMO the best in the world. Outstanding experience - will be back as soonas the stash I bought runs out. Read more
Service was poor. There were only a few people in there and had 3 or 4 bar tenders and could hardly get service. But the mead... was very with the hype. I'd rather drink it there than buy it to go 9-15$ /glass $22 a 375ml bottle. But I liked the space. It'sin a busy downtown shopping district with metered parking. guy next to me had several bottles of stuff when I asked to buy theysaid it was unavailable maybe he bought the last bottle of 3 different types? Bought my first bottle of Madeline a couple weeks ago and just finished it, I've been sipping it so I don't chug the bottle.... This is definitely the best mead I've ever had and I would go as far as to say the best alcoholic beverage I've ever had.
