I had a good experience. Unfortunately I come from the Land of Döner, where it is a cheap snack and even cheaper than... McDonald's and Burger King. So I found 12 Dollar for a simple Döner Kebab a bit too much. What do I get for 12 bucks? A simpleDöner, which is quite authentic. The fresh cucumber made tasting a bit Greek but the seasoning of the meat was very authentic. The preparation of the Döner was not that authentic. Usually in Germany Döner is prepared in Subway style and you see therotating meat. Here the meet was just grilled in the back kitchen. But this is fine to me, as long as the taste is good. Thewoman who was working was super nice and attentive, filled up my Pepsi and stuff. Overall 4/5. I recommend the Döner, I do notagree with the price but then again I understand today's economic situation. Read more

Me and my friends are always looking for new foods to try, and we all went here once to try the döner. After trying it, we all... instantly knew this is going to be a place to come back to often. The döner is absolutely fantastic, and has become one of myfavorite foods since eating it a couple of times here. The staff is also incredibly friendly. Highly recommend! Read more

My husband and I really loved this place a couple years ago. The doner bowl was full of meat and cheese, light on the fries.... Now, 3/4 of the bowl is fries with maybe three small cubes of diced chicken and barely a touch of cheese. Each time we'veordered lately, it's gotten progressively worse with more and more fries and less and less chicken. Unfortunately, as residentsof Ferndale that love to give back to the community, we won't be ordering from here again. Read more

Ordered carry out for lunch at the balkan house. I tried my first Doner kebab and it was very tasty. Now when you look at the... menu don?t be alarmed by the $14 price tag for the sandwich. Once you get it you will indeed get your $15 worth of sandwich. It's a really hefty sandwich filled with meat and fresh veggies. I could not eat all of it for lunch. The lamb was flavorful, rich and buttery. I advise you to get extra sauce to help cut some of the richness of the lamb. You can also get chicken insteadfor a small upcharge and if you don?t want meat you can get the falafel doner. In all it was a great lunch and I will repeatagain. Read more

I had the Döner Basket and Döner Kebab both with Specialty Sauce. Both of these meals were delicious. Every bite on these... meals was enjoyable. Is it exactly authentic European? It?s not quite there, but it is better than most places i?ve hadhere. Ordered on an app and it was ready in 10-15min. Read more

EDIT: July 18th, 2020 Grabbed food for the family and got more items and kabobs. Excellent! Better than last time, IMHO. The... kabobs were amazing, the crepes are yum, but the baklava is the best that any of us has ever had and we're pretty picky aboutour baklava! Just a great real European meal locally made. Excellent Döner Kebab, OK fries. First visit, called my order inand they brought it out curbside, so I can't comment on the actual place, but the staff I interacted with were friendly andprofessional. The Kebab was excellent, hearty, tasty bread, generous amount of lamb, great tasting sauce and fillings, just anexcellent food. The fries sadly were undercooked, not severely, just could've used some extra time, but a minor complaintreally. Read more
