David’s is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are in town. We got married in Amelia in 2020 and come back every... year for our anniversary. David’s is always #1 on our list. From incredible food, to great drinks and the absolute bestservice, you can’t go wrong. Amazing steaks and seafood…my husbands steak was perfect and the black grouper, amazing. Ourwaiter, Javier was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We had a wonderful evening, and had a special card on our tablefrom the staff for our anniversary, special touch. Hands down the best food in the area! If your looking for a great dinner experience in Fernandina beach. Chef David has placed... his mark on this incredible restaurant and strives to make this an experience you will not regret. As soon as you walk throughthe door the staff was attentive, kind and welcoming. The grilled octopus with three different sauces and sweet plantain filleddelicacies is what started our adventure. We followed it with steak and lobster cooked to perfection that melted in your mouth.The wine list is well recognized and if you have any questions the waiter, Zack was very kind and knowledgeable. This is probably hands down one of the best places I have ever eaten - from the ambience, to the impeccable service, to the... delicious food - David's did not disappoint. Beautiful, delicious & an Excellent Dinning experience We decided to finish out our Spring Break vacation by eating at Davids,... and we were blown away. The setting was fantastic, beautiful artwork in the building, comfortable chairs, well dressed servers.Dress code was “Resort Casual” but I wouldn’t recommend wearing shorts. Gentleman should wear long pants and ladies indresses. Our server brought our bread in a wooden box, something I’ve never experienced before, with fine butter and acoconut red snapped spread. I had the special, which was a New York strip that was phenomenal with white truffle mashedpotato’s, my wife enjoyed the Dover Sole which was the best fish I’ve ever eaten. We both enjoyed our dessert and werepleasantly surprised when our waitress brought us Chocolate Covered strawberries with the check. I love laid back beachrestaurants but it was nice to step into a place of elegance for our final evening on Amelia Island, this place is a MUST Read more
We went to David’s for my wife’s birthday. The food and service were unmatched. Our server Javier had been off training... recently but it felt like he had been there for years. He made great recommendations for my wife’s wine and was veryknowledgeable about the specials. The raspberry sorbet prior to the entree was absolutely delicious. The bread came in a box andwas served with a tangy strawberry gazpacho. We didn’t feel rushed to eat and we truly got to enjoy everything that was placedin front of us. Before we realized it had been 2 hours since we sat down and got the check. Although it is highly priced food,it’s absolutely worth it especially if you are celebrating anything! Excellent restaurant! Food was prepared perfectly and service was top notch. Filet and lobster was amazing and cooked just... right! The mushroom ravioli was terrific! The bread and spreads was scrumptious! The staff were pleasant and extremelyattentive. Celebrated a special occasion and the experience couldn’t have been better.
