Reviews for Cedar River Seafood in Fernandina Beach, FL
Well priced and amazing service, even for just a take out order. They were out of the one thing I wanted, but Luke was very... professional and made sure that I was thoroughly satisfied with what I ordered and went beyond my expectation of service. Tip:They're less busy after the tourist season. Please support this local restaurant. Read more
We?ve noticed they are short of staff when we just walked in, but we don?t know they are short of food too :( we were so... disappointed with these two small portions, and they costed $52 + $12 tip. Won?t go back. Read more

We enjoyed our visit. There was a little confusion with the hostess as to where to sit us, but it was worked out quickly. We... believe she was kind of new at this position. We had a great waiter. I wish I could remember his name. It was busy and loud inthe restaurant so it made it a little hard to hear everything clearly. Portions...make sure you go when you are starvingbecause they bring you enough for two people to eat! My husband and I couldn't finish our suppers due to the ginormous amount offood we were served! I got the fried shrimp and it was great! My husband got the broiled chicken. The garlic mashed potatoeswere amazing and the cole slaw was good as well. We both ordered those. All of the wait staff seemed genuinely happy to bethere and that made for a more pleasurable dining experience in top of the amazing food! Thanks for the fun and laughter! Wewill definitely come back! Read more
On foot, we found this great restaurant?Cedar River. Fried foods are moot our choice, but we had options. My flounder was... broiled and our chicken entree grilled. Lima beans like soup, cooked in a light ham broth with butter and pepper. Yum! Almostas good as the Italian flat green beans with bacon. But the ultimate flavor came from cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes. Luke, ourserver, was excellent. Attentive and polite. We would most certainly try this restaurant when on Amelia Island. Read more
Unexpected pearl by the ocean. Food was amazing and service was kind and friendly. The Clam Chowder was on point. Gator tails... were succulent and juicy inside delicious crispy shell personified by the amazing homemade ranch. Crab stuffed mushrooms., we'regood. Coup de grace was the Mahi Mahi, blackened to absolute divine perfection. See photos Read more
