Reviews for Bantam & Biddy in Fernandina Beach, FL
I found this restaurant while on a trip by searching for a place that serves gluten free. It is a order at the counter... restaurant. I got the build a ?biscuit?. I subbed a gluten free bun and fried chicken tenders. The chicken was so crispy andjuicy. The flavor was flavorful with peppery brown ones The bun was toasted and buttered. I ordered fries. They do not come withyour sandwich, fries were fresh cut, not enough fries for cost, in my opinion, but delicious. I also ordered a gluten freebrownie. This was the most reasonably priced. It was moist and delicious I think it was slightly overpriced overall. They mademe pay $.50 per condiment request I asked for mayonnaise and honey mustard and it cost me $1.07 extra. But I wasn?t at home so Ipaid the extra. I definitely do not think it was worth $.50 each and I didn?t even want ketchup. But I would go back the foodwas great and I love to support a place that?s local and does gluten-free. The bathroom was clean Cashier friendly Numerousbooths, tables and bar seating, as well as outside seating. Plenty of parking in a good sized plaza. Read more
Delicious. Order at counter and pay. Food delivered to your table. Served quickly, hot and as ordered. Good tea and coffees.... Breakfast tacos perfect. Just a bit expensive or it would be 5 stars. Read more
Fun menu with lots of gluten free options. Fresh made lemonade, too! I had the Royale With Cheese, and my wife, who is gluten... free had a great Traitor Joe's Burger. Read more

This is the best place to start the day. Usually not busy and the food and service are great. The orange juice is freshly... squeezed and very tasty. I got the biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. The biscuits were huge and soft, I thought I couldeat 2, but I hardly finished 1! Overall everything here was great and would totally come again. As you may notice, there is virtually no food left on the plates. It all was wonderful and very delicious. I ordered a cold... coffee and the breakfast burritos. They were outstanding. Thanks to the couple in the fireplace picture from Wisconsin forletting me include them in the review. Read more
Went to this place looking for a cheaper alternative to eating at the local resort.... and not only was the food much more... reasonably priced, it was way better. I got an omelet and biscuit and gravy, and my wife got a waffle as shown in the pics. It was amazing. If you're in the area, go give this little diner your business. Our waitress was Danielle and she was amazing. Read more
I can?t remember the last time I was able to have a GF waffle! Pancakes, sure, they?re around. But you can never find a waffle... because they?re tougher to do with most GF mixes. The bananas with the caramelized sugar on top were a nice touch. Definitelysatisfied my craving. I also tried the?drink of the day? written on the glass outside. Earl grey tea with milk, honey andvanilla. Substituted oat milk (they have Almond milk too!) and it was delicious. We also got a GF key lime cake to go. Haven?ttried it yet but looks amazing. Only thing I would say was that the menus were very sticky. I?m sure it?s because we were thereafter the brunch rush and they just haven?t gotten to it yet. Also, as someone who worked in the service industry for years, itwas really nice to see a manager working alongside the staff. Love that! Read more
