Eaten here many times over the summer. Our usual waiter Will does a great job even on a busy Friday night. Chef salad, Reubens,... fried chicken and the perch have all been very good as are the specials on Sunday. Read more
If you've not traveled around it might account for the good reviews. Food was poor value, my husband got the wrong order... (chicken tender basket but got fish) we're not big eaters but the portions were small. There are few restaurants in this areaand this accounts for this one staying in business. If you're going for tge food experience, don't bother. Will not beback..would rather cook at home. Read more
As far as atmosphere, you feel like you are in an old time bar but the food is surprisingly good. The staff all seem to work... hard as a team to make sure all the customers are satisfied. We had other waitresses helping to clear dishes when we finishedsomething and even the manager (I think) was helping everyone out. She was helping the host, helping the waitresses, helping thebar etc. I loved to watch the teamwork here. I also loved my meal. Great job! Read more
Side salad had not crisp cukes on it. The lettuce was also not crisp & fresh. Fish basket was just ok. The fish was mushy but... fries were good. The large chicken salad was jus ok. Lettuce was not crisp and it had processed meat and no croutons. Don'tthink we'll return Read more
It was good and what not. As soon as you walk in you're hit with the smell of delicious-Ness. We had will as our server, he was... amazing. Ribs were on special so we tried that and also the lake perch entree both were delicious. I'm very picky with my fishand it was wonderful. Lightly breaded. Flavor was just right and it was so melt in your mouth good. The ribs were falling offthe bone and just as delicious. Sadly they were out of the spicy cheese curds so now we have an excuse to go back! Read more
Best Burger I have had in ages and the staff are pretty nice. It?s definitely got an old bar feel to it but it has character and... good atmosphere and that?s what I like. Don?t change a thing. I will definitely be coming back. Read more
