What a little gem of a winery, we love this place!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is kind and the managers Bryan and... Kerry go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best! Not to mention the wine, it is amazing. My favorite is theHerman Riesling. Read more
Of the wineries in this region, we?ve been most impressed with Modales. With a nice interior as well as a sizable covered patio... and impressive outdoor area, they?ve got enough space to fit a large amount of people. These wines seemed much less sweet andsugary than the other options nearby, with much more robust and full bodies to them. Overall, their full spectrum of winescovered a nice range of options to cater to our groups varied tastes. Read more
We stopped in randomly on our way back home after a few days in Northern MI. Bree helped us with our tasting and we thoroughly... enjoyed her down to earth and modern take on wine. Wine tastings can be so rote and old-fashioned. We greatly appreciated Bree'shumorous take on many of the wines. She read our palettes and even introduced some off the cuff tastings she thought we wouldenjoy. We really enjoyed the great conversation and wine recommendations, Bree...great end to our long weekend! Such a greatselection of both whites and reds...we'll be sure to return! Read more
