We ordered two Gnocchi, one Alfredo Sauce, the other Pomodoro. There was nothing authentic nor freshly made about either of... these sauces. The Pomodoro (tomato sauce) I'm sure was poured from a jar and then overdone with garlic to hide the brand, and Ilove lots of garlic. The blandness of the Alfredo sauce, which tasted like a Knorr Alfredo base, was soon over-powered by theabundance of the black pepper that was added. Though there are those who like this, the pricing suggested it would be authentichowever, it is not. The only item that tasted like it was probably actually prepped in-house was the Bruschetta topping. Weneed to start demanding more quality. I don't mind paying for quality and I realize there is inflation, however that has nothingto do with caring what your serve you guests. We had a very delicious meal at Ziraldo's while visiting our friends in Fenellon Falls. They have a lovely porch were we... enjoyed our delicious meals. The food was great. But whoever owns this place needs to hire more staff as our reservation was for 8, we ordered right away and... didn't get our food until after 9 I know this is a busy spot as I watched our probably underpaid waitresses run around forhours. ,...........,.......... Follow up. We knew it was a small restaurant as my family comes a lot, that is why we booked areservation at your tiny home restaurant. I just felt bad for my grandpa who had to wait an hour just to get his appetizer. I?ve been coming here occasionally for a few years now and up until my last experience, it was fantastic! So I won?t let my most... recent visit effect the star rating. Service has always been amazing! Staff is so sweet and accommodating. Food, pre Canadaday weekend was incredible! I don?t what happened? Our visit on Canada day weekend was not the place I remember. Everything fromthe bread to the entrees were horrible. This is probably a result of the pandemic and rising food costs so I feel forrestaurants. Had a tasty dinner Wednesday evening, with our grandchildren. Ate outside on the front porch. Was great seating, no bugs, with... a breeze with heater to cut the chill. Friendly, prompt service (even with a new waitress and our variations from the regularmenu). Fresh warm bread with butter balls to start, then we had the bruschetta. It is the best I have had?.Ever! The lentilwith sausage soup was homemade and flavourful. Gnocchi with Alfredo sauce I could eat every day!! Great quality steaks servedwith a choice of sauces. Amazing! Our first time out to a patio since lockdown lifted, and we will be going back soon. We started with a half dozen... oysters, which were served with three delicious toppings and were fresh and wonderful! You can?t go wrong with hot sauce andhorse radish. The Caesar salad came highly recommended by many, and it did not disappoint. Both pasta dishes were cookedperfectly, with delicious seasoning and excellent presentation. Not to mention a lovey botte of rosé at a more than reasonableprice. The patio is cute, intimate, and well maintained - even after a good rain! Went there for dinner with my husband. The waitress was a great young girl very friendly. I ordered some angel pasta with... shrimps no so great it was missing taste, my husband ordered I believe a seafood pasta, his was good. He really enjoyed and weordered the mussels, we would not order them again they were also missing the taste that make you want to eat them again. I willgo again and try something else. Read more
