Normally this place is great and definitely a great experience for the kids to watch the ice cream being made. But today online... it says they closed at 10pm, my one child had one of her medical treatments today which end pretty late normally but I won?t getinto all that on here but there painful so as a treat we drove all the way from Tacoma to get her something fun and yummy sincemost other ice cream places close earlier and seeing they were open till 10 was perfect we got there at 9:40pm still 20 minutesbefore ?closing?. When I came up to the door a worker had rushed to the door and place a garbage can infront of the door, andsaid threw the glass door there closed, I said it said you guys were open till 10 she replied we?re closed. I said okay andwalked away. I understand clean up time and all that but it?s not stated on the website or anything that you actually indeed donot close at 10 but quite a bit earlier then that. We never would have made the drive if we had known you actually closedearlier then the said time. Other than this experience normally a great ice cream place I will call next time to make sure.Maybe update your hours if it is indeed different now. Read more

The delight from kids at the experience is worth it. And being able to get any flavor made non-dairy was such a treat!

I'm an event planner at Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering and I absolutely LOVE Subzero ice cream catering! Typically, ice cream... catering requires lots of freezer space, access to electricity, space for a large truck, or other features not readily availableat all event venues/locations. Since Subzero uses liquid nitrogen to make fresh ice cream on-site, it makes for a hassle-freeexperience (both for the planner and guest)! You get to pick a number of flavors that are made to order - my favorite is coffeeice cream with oreos and waffle bits. The best part is that they also have vegan/lactose free options to cover most dietaryneeds! Jack Walsh is so wonderful to work with and helps to bring a stunning ice cream experience for my guests. I can't waitto work with you all again! Read more

I just got back from my trip to Sub Zero, writing a review immediately, it was that bad: When I usually walk into Sub Zero... Nitrogen Ice Cream, I am met with smiling faces, shining teeth, and a warm atmosphere. But today, I was met with scowlingfrowns, tired eyes, and a chilly atmosphere, fitting all the liquid nitrogen pouring over the edge that made me feel like I wastrapped in one of the nitrogen cans stored in the back of the parlor. Oh, but we're just getting started. Shall we begin?Perhaps with the cutter. My lackluster experience began with a rude, selfish, unaware, disrespectful customer, specifically aWild Waves member attempting to cut me in the line. This was a visible interaction that absolutely no workers dealt with. Wait,I almost forgot! How could I with the horrid and frankly, grotesque, smell that encapsulated and engulfed all the customersdaring to enter the danger zone. The smell acted as a ferocious monster out of the deepest darkest corner of your horrorimagination, attacking your nostrils every chance it got, spreading like a wildfire. Want to experience it? Next time your babypukes, stick your nose in it, chunks and all! Just imagine, much worse. Continuing on with the main event, what we came for.Had it been good, I might've been able to forget about the prior situations. As you'll see, it only got worse. Thinking that wecould make the worker's job easier, we opted to go out of our way, adjusted our orders by all three of us ordering the samething. Unfortunately, our good deed was not reciprocated. The worker only proceeded to give us barely any ice cream, amountingto barely a small when we clearly asked for a regular. Just take a look at the attached picture after barely taking in onespoon-full. My ice cream lasted about as much as my patience did when I was in the parlor. For the 30 minutes we waited and tookout of our day, it only lasted to when we got out of the parking lot. As a loyal member of the Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice C Read more

Great activity for a night out. You can choose from different bases and add your own mix ins. We got different flavors, but be... aware the sugar-free flavor is just cream without sugar - it?s not sugar substitute it just taste like coffee creamer. Read more

This was an interesting experience. The ice cream is ?created? on the spot with a selection of milk and non-dairy milk... substitutes. You can add flavorings and mix-ins and then have it frozen to your desired hardness/coldness. FYI, the BrainFreeze level of cold is basically solid chunks of ice cream. The Numb Tongue level was just right to me. Read more

I remember going to a science program when I was a kid and learning about liquid Nitrogen - Amazing experience! So when I drove... past this ice cream place the inner kid in me quickly pulled right on up to park. It was quite the experience. Unique way ofmaking ice cream and so many flavors to choose from. Everything is made by hand and it?s quick. The kids absolutely loved it andthe Ice cream as well. The wife was happy because she could finally get vegan ice cream or lactose free. So everyone is includedat this ice cream shop. I didn?t even think to take pictures of the finished products because everyone was so excited. The staffmoved through the line of people quickly and made our 5 different flavored orders of ice cream very quickly as well. At the lastmin I ordered a 6th one to go because I wanted to have some for later. I definitely tasted everyone?s ice cream and it wasdelicious - Ice cream is definitely my thing. You get to choose how cold you want the ice cream. Waffle cones are super freshand tasty. We will definitely be back SOON! Check this place out if your looking for an experience along with some good ol icecream! Read more
