It's a whole new world upstairs. Marlene?s Market and Deli is like a grocery store that sells natural food with a restaurant... right inside of it. I have been to Marlene?s many times before but never realized there?s a deli upstairs. Glad I asked anemployee downstairs about the fresh baked goods, and she directed me upstairs. All this time I thought upstairs is only foremployees. That's not the case and I have pictures to prove it :) Boy, they got a salad bar, sandwich, and deliciously bakedgoods! Best grocery store in the area, has real food without too many additives. The raw milk selection is better than most major... city?s gimmick health food stores. Very inconspicuous too, no one knows the obscene amount of money I make, and they couldnever guess because it?s a relaxed and tranquil environment without regard for such things. My Nana sent me here to get her a bottle of clear lungs. I understand looking at me you would think he doesn't belong in a store... like this. I wondered around the store looking for the bottle but always wanting to see what other things they have I never beenin a store like that, well doing that will just get employees to follow you around the whole time not even asking if you needhelp with anything. I had to ask for help myself and when they took me to the right aisle and pointed where it was at she juststood there looking at me to see if I was gonna grab it to steal it I'm assuming. Highly rude every worker there trulydisappointed with all the staff there. They judge you the moment you walk in. Very disappointing for me since it's my Nana'sfavorite store but I will not be going back anytime soon. Read more

Love how much local stuff they have here at really competitive prices! The only downside is that I wish it was bigger! The... grocery area is deceptively small but they do have a lot of great things. I think the big takeaway from here is the second floorand their book section! Their Deli is also TO DIE FOR! Please try any of the sandwiches, vegan or not! I've been coming here all my life! Back in the day they were located on the other side of Gateway Center. Always has the best... produce. The best place for lunches and really nummy desserts ???? ???? I never have to worry about GMOs and everything isorganic. They have a great community here and offer classes in various topics. Very nice variety of Natural Beauty products.The best supplements. Gardening section! Just a really great place. I prefer Marlenes over the larger chain organic groceries.You get more bang for your buck. Read more

My girlfriend has celiac so we love grocery shopping here cause they have so many wonderful options! The gluten free sandwiches... in the deli are amazing as well. I've never had a gluten free/vegan bread that tastes so good I thought they had mixed up theorder at first. They also have a great variety of natural body wash, hair products, and more upstairs. The only downside is Ialways seem to get weird sideways looks from the workers at the downstairs checkout. Read more

Every imaginable spice, blackberry honey, canning supplies, gifts and great selection of food. Staff was super nice!
