Koharu Restaurant is one of the best sushi places in Federal away. My wife and I normally have the bento box lunch or dinner... special. The bento box consists of sushi, sashimi, tempura meat/ veggies, and miso soup. You have the option to choose. Thisrestaurant is a pleasant and quiet place to enjoy your lunch or dinner. The staff is fantastic too. I would recommend the bentobox if you do not know what to choose. Read more

Food was alright, not my favorite. The rice was really bland, which really sucks if you get avocado/Cucumber rolls as a vegan.... The miso soup was good! Pretty expensive too :/ Anyway, here are some updated pictures of the menu Read more

Their dinner bento was very good quality and portion. Tempura did not have the proper battery, it was too thick like fish and... chips batter. And tacoyaki tasted like those frozen ones which was deep fried. I would gi back for the bento box. Read more

Incredible!!! I've had sushi everywhere (including Nobu) and I just happened to find this place. I was overwhelmed with the... freshness and quality of the fish. The prices were fair, service was attentive and the place was clean. I'm going back as oftenas possible... Read more

Decently maintained establishment with quick service, excellent hospitality, and large entrees which complimented the... pricing. Opinion: Initially, I was skeptical about the establishment due to the higher prices for simple dishes. My sentimentdidn't get much better after I left to wash my hands and noticed that a portion of the men's restroom was used as a storage orcloset space. Also that the lighting appeared dim giving it an odd vibe. Returning to the table, we decided to over order sincewe were unsure of the portions and were afraid that food would be grossly overpriced, but to our shock, the food arrivedextremely fast and the portions were well worth the pricing. Everything that we ordered tasted great, my only qualms were that(1) my poke bowl had too much lettuce and onions which I couldn't help but to think was to simply fill the bowl, (2) that thepoke bowl probably should've come with a side of seaweed salad instead of lettuce salad since it already came with a healthyportion of it, and (3) that most menu items came with krab meat, or imitation crab, which is a bit of a turn off since it seemsto lack authenticity. The breakdown of each category is as follows... Atmosphere: Excellent design and layout. The artwork, music, and aesthetics made for a very welcoming environment and complemented the style very nicely. Though, I do feel like therestrooms are due for an upgrade in lighting and style. Service: The staff was friendly, warm, and very aware of the needs ofthe customer. If we ever finished an item then they were there to clear the table of empty dishes without disrupting ourmeal. Food: Though the food may appear pricey, it's actually reasonable given the large quantity of meat that you are given ineach roll. Don't be offset by the words "2 pieces" in reference to the quantity of meat in each roll - their two pieces arelarge, trust me on that one. To reiterate, we over ordered due to not understanding that the prices are high because t Read more
