Great little pub. They had 2 pool tables and a pretty large bar, although the area around the bar is a little tight. Ian (hope... I spelled that right) was a great bartenders and his family has owned the bar for 35 years if I remember correctly. So that'spretty cool! ???? Idk if it was a special occasion or not, but when we arrived there was a crock pot on the table in thecorner. I believe what I ate was shrimp gumbo of the sort that Ian had made for the patrons, and man was that stuff good! It wasspicy, but I'm a big fan of spicy, although I did limit the amount I ate as to not pay for it the next day, if you know what Imean ???????????? my friend did not, and he paid dearly ??????????????? Started good, but owner seems to think some STOLEN VALOR ?army veteran? owns the rights to the bar. Us Marines on a bachelor... party got kicked out just having a conversation with this guy (must be a regular) just asking what province he was at to provehe was a fake or not (we could tell by the way he was talking). Owner jumped in without knowing what was going on ended upkicking us out because we were asking questions (RIGHTFULLY SO), but because we were out of towners we got the chopping block.This place is locals only so IF YOUR AN OUT OF TOWNER, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO! Went there 2 out of 3 nights in area. Friendly people, great service and THE best pickle shot I?ve ever had!
If you ever go to Fayetteville, you MUST stop here. The staff is amazing and so is the owner! There are pool tables, a jukebox... and the atmosphere is great. Can't wait to visit again. Read more
