This is a great place for chilling with some beer. The atmosphere was hip and chill (especially the outside area, inside was... nice but small). They have board games and goats and lots of benches. The beer list is real solid, decent prices and freetastings which is always a bonus. The only downside was the food. It was just decent and goes well with beer, but not a placeI'd recommend for food. Had some tacos, a brat, and mac n cheese. The serving sizes were kinda small for their price/qualitytoo. If your looking for a good place for dinner and beers both Pies & Pints and Southside Junction Taphouse are better choices Read more
Great spot to camp out and mountain bike. I would probably avoid the bar/restaurant unless you really need something as the food... isn?t the best quality. Beer selection from cans is great but the draft selection is small. Overall a great place to spend aweekend. Very close to some great parks, trails, and nice people. Read more
This is a campground for mountain bikers, by mountain bikers. Excellent camp sites for all styles ? primitive, van life, and... RVs. It has a bike shop, bar, restaurant, trials area, and pump track to jump line. Very close to the Arrowhead bike trailssystem. You actually can ride directly from camp. Staff are very friendly and offer rentals, guide services, and skillstraining. The only reason that I knocked them to 4/5 is that the restrooms are poorly maintained and the showers aren't verygood. But I wouldn't let this sway your decision. Even if you're not a MTB enthusiast, this a great place to camp. Oh, they havegoats, too. Read more
This is the best place to camp. We tent camped for 4 days. The mountain bike trails are right next to the campground. They have... hot showers. You can grab a cold beer and a burrito or taco from The Handlebar. We absolutely loved camping here. They fixed ourbroken bike. We bought fresh grown vegetables on the farm for our camp dinners. The community was so welcoming. It was quiet atnight. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Just be prepared for rain and mud. Read more
My husband and I booked at Arrowhead because of the easy access to New River Gorge NP. Our reservations were from Tuesday to... Friday. The camping was great! So was the food and beer, and the park was stunning! But then we found out that Saturday wasBridge Day. As the week went on, we got caught up in the growing excitement of the event, but we had no place to stay andArrowhead was booked. On Friday morning we asked Adam to let us know if there were any cancellations. His response was that hewas opening up more area in the field and we could stay. Adam, you made our trip! Because of you and Arrowhead, we got to seeour first Bridge Day in stunning weather, an incredible experience! Thanks so much for getting caught up in the spirit of theday and making it possible for us to turn an otherwise fantastic national park vacation into a uniquely memorable experience! Read more
