The fried shrimp, flounder, okra, mac n cheese, fries, and hush puppies were all so delicious and amazing. The ladies there were... very hospitable and refilled our drinks when needed. My husband and I stopped here on the way home from Myrtle beach. We wanted to try some souls food and this place had high... ratings. Let me tell you now STOP HERE !! We ordered a 6 piece bbq wing, Mac n cheese, and baked beans. EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT!HOT ! FRESH, and CRISPY FRESH WINGS !! The beans we delicious ! July 1st I purchased a fish plate and the fish taste old , as if it stayed in the freezer too long and they used it to keep from... wasting it. They left a bad taste in my mouth. The collard had no flavor no ham bits , ham hocks nor turkey wings as flavor .You could taste the tap water in the greens . And I brought two plates for 13.00 dollars. It?s just hard to find quality foodunless u cook it your self . Chick-fil-A Mac and cheese was 10 times better. Read more
I ordered the Flounder plate with two side. The Flounder was sooooo good, seasoned well and with a crispy coating and not... greasy. My sides were collards and mac&cheese. The collards were seasoned perfectly and were awesome. The mac&cheese was goodbut could have been creamier and with less grease.
