The service was great. Pancakes were tough, hash browns a little greasy but were fresh made and crispy, eggs, bacon and grits... tasty but the biscuit was truly a delicious work of art. Flaky, buttery and volume. Myra you are truly an artist with biscuits.Definitely coming back and bringing more people with me. Side note they do have gluten free buns available for some dishes. Arrived at 1110. Told a 25-30 minute wait. Never received a text that table was ready. Had to re engage hostess at 1143 to be... told a table was ready. Hostess claimed a text was sent which we verified it was not. Once seated drink orders were takenimmediately. Ordered the steak and potatoes bowl, kids chicken and waffles and fried chicken Benedict at 1156. Chicken fromchicken and waffle was season very well. Waffles were cooked evenly and were soft and flaky. Great mixture to go with chicken.Food arrived at 1206. Steak was overcooked from steak bowl. Fried chicken Benedict was perfect. Well seasoned chicken once againand biscuit was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were cooked and seasoned well as well. Our waitress Jaimie was very attentive andresponsive as well. Even though the initial first impression of the hostess issue put things in a bad perspective. Once seatedeverything inside was worth the wait. Definitely will come again Read more

The plate presentation is nice but the food... Well, i had a pot roast that wasn't as soft as i would have desired. It was tough... to chew. Even the veggies were semi-soft. I sent the plate back and chose the scrambled eggs avocado bowl with bacon andhollandaise sauce instead. After trying the two meals and the price paid doesn't seem to draw me back. So A+ on presentation. B+on taste. C on pricing. The establishments seating was almost at capacity. The Cod with fries was a partners dish that I sampleda bite from also. It was decent. Maybe I'll return in 6 months. Read more

Cool place to eat. I went for breakfast. Seems to be a local favorite. Military friendly, decor makes the place feel cozy and... welcoming. The waitress was SUPER friendly & funny, definitely knew her way around the menu with great suggestions. I took herphoto because I am bad with names. I would have rated it a 5 but not a fan of having dogs (or pets) in a restaurant. A couplehad a small dog (it was well behaved and only at their table in a open container)with them in the dining area. Read more

The food here was decent, but for the time we had to wait to get in (1 hour 15 minutes) and the time to get our food (35... minutes) it was not worth the wait. For as popular as it seemed, I really expected more. Our server was very intense andexcited about his job and the location and though it may have been a little much, I did appreciate that he cared that much aboutwho he worked for and clearly loved the location. I do appreciate the texting for our check in as we were able to wander thelocal shops before we were called. They do not have a liquor license so I found it a little weird that they make their drinkswith wine like a bloody Mary with sake though my fellow guests didn't seem to mind. Take out and online orders were going outquickly, and it seemed like that was at the expense of the patrons in the restaurant. The prices were very good and the foodtasted good as well. Not many complaints there, but would not likely wait in the line again for very basic brunch food. Read more

So I decided to take my little sister to brunch for her bday and she wanted to go to Metro Diner. Everything on the menu... sounded delicious ???? But we went for the chicken ???? and fruity waffles ???? We were served by MICHELLE. She was soaccommodating and attentive. Her customer service alone was worth the experience. She saw that our order was large and switchedus to a booth where we would be more comfortable. I had apple ???? juice and French vanilla coffee. My little sister didn?t wantcoffee until she smelled mine and tasted it. It was the right temperature? not too hot and not too cold. Michelle later preparedtheir special sauce and I was weirded out by the idea of syrup and hot sauce. Until I tried it and it was so yummy ???? Theirportions are big for a good price. I took some chicken home so my kids can try it. Everything was delicious! The fruit was freshtoo. It was a good memory and experience we had today at our first time here. Thank you MICHELLE you are amazing ????! Read more
