This was my first time trying both Jamaican food and goat. I was happy with both! I was craving something like beef stew but... also wanted to try something new and decided to go with the curry goat meal. The portion was huge- It barely fit in thecontainer haha!! The goat kinda tasted like beef to me. I liked the goat, curry sauce, and rice, (8/10) which all had niceflavors. I didn?t care for the cabbage, it was a little bland for my taste. I had the steamed snapper meal. Sides included were a choice of rice and peas, or white rice (I had the white rice), and... plantains, cabbage, and a mix of vegetables. It was all delicious! There has got to be some kind of crack in these recipes because for the love of God I can not go a week without getting a plate... . I'm just telling you what God loves. This man put his foot leg knee and neck in these daggone oxtails you hear me. They aretender and full of flavor. I usually get the combo jerk and oxtail plate but my 2 year old son done fell in love with theoxtails and eats em all up so I have to get more! The price is very reasonable for the food you get. Highly recommended!! The establishment is clean, customer service is world class, the food is tasty and on point, the portions... are plentiful, and it is worth your time and money to try them. We have visited several times and have been treated like familyby the owner each time. Everything we have tried from the menu has been spot on. We cannot pick a favorite because we enjoy themall. I've ate here several times. Every time the food is awesome. Yesterday was my 46th birthday & the Man in my life planned with... the staff the most wonderful surprise that I will never forget. I walked into Happy Birthday playing to a decorated table offlowers, a birthday balloon, a bottle of champagne, & champagne glasses! They popped the champagne, served it, snapped pictures,& even took a video of us dancing. Once the food was brought out I was already overwhelmed from the great energy of it all butevery bite was so delicious I couldn't stop smiling with such joy!!! Customer service was top notch! But the food was very basic. Got the jerk wings, which were fried and heavily breaded. Not jerk... wings at all, just fried wings in a jerk sauce. The curry shrimp was good, but not spicy. The curry sauce made it to my cabbagewhich made the cabbage really tasty. The salmon was overcooked and thin, and it wasn?t ?jerked? it just came with a jerk sauce.The plantains were great tho. Overall, not impressed.
