Give this place a try! Our dishes include some most popular items such as curry, dumplings, shrimp, mochi, and ramen! See below... the tasty potatoes among the curry and check out the two different ramen dishes!! The setting is great and merchandise topurchase. For drinks we chose home made lemonade and the iced green tea. The person working allowed us to take our time with ourquestions and served us in such a royal manner. Thank you for your food and smiles! Will return Read more
This is Japanese street food and let me tell you, everything I have had is flavorful. My husband says the Tonkotsu Ramen taste... perfect like the soup he had in Japan. This is not a fancy restaurant but a clean place to grab a table and eat or take it home.Wish it were next door to me! Read more
Portion size was very small and was not up to the expectations of price. Given that my family and I have traveled to Japan and... lived there... I wouldn't say the flavor of the food was authentic. I also had difficulty to ask for my change back due to achild running the register. The food itself didn't have much flavor. It just tasted like grilled dry hard noodles and grilleddry chicken no seasoning. I guess you have to pay extra for the other sauces on the menu to get flavor. The gyozas wereextremely hard and dry. The dipping sauce for the gyozas i was given the bare minimum . My "to go" plate of curry was filledwas filled mostly with rice and to give slivers of steak and 5 pieces of shrimp is not even close to "Street food portion" .This resturant made me learn a few lessons. #1 Check your to go orders before leaving and #2 only order just one thing to try itout first. This was almost 60.00s . If I would have checked my food before leaving no way would I accepted this. My family and Iended up eating something else for dinner . Read more
I love the food and the owner is so friendly with great customer service. The Ramen is authentic and delicious. We also went for... the Grand opening and it was so much fun! Chef Yohei has this amazing sauce that he makes from scratch. We travelled 2.5 hoursto Fayetteville after seeing so much good authentic Japanese food on FB. Read more
Update: Went back today and got spicy ramen and pork curry. The spicy ramen was not that impressive, it's super spicy and it's... lacking the umami flavor. Literally you can only taste the spiciness! pork was cold and so does the egg.. i don't know whathappened there.. the curry on the otherhand was super delicious! If you are looking for an authentic japanese food, this is theplace to be. We finally were able to visit today, we ordered beef teppan, onigiri rice balls and tonkatsu ramen-- all of themwere delicious! The portions are good, the prices are reasonable! I'm not sure if they serve free water but we paid for abottle of water so i suggest bringing your own if you don't want to pay for a restaurant price. I cannot wait to go back and trymore from their menu! We absolutely enjoyed or lunch! I suggest to give this place a try! Read more
Had lunch here today food was very good portions were not large I don?t know fairness they weren?t small either. The restaurant... itself could use some sprucing up. Hopefully as time goes on they will improve the appearance and expand the menu beyond what itis now. I would eat here again But I do really hope they expand the menu offering especially offer some things that you wouldfind in Japan but not in a typical restaurant here. Read more
Was able to come here on a Thursday evening. It was not busy at all, but the food was fresh made, and even beyond my... expectations. I asked the chef for his suggestion, for someone who had not yet had Japanese ramen: tonkatsu ramen. The flavoris just immense and intense; I wish I would have gotten spicier, but I might have to do that the next time. For my appetizer, Igot the pork gyoza... It was equally tasty and made for a light meal. While it is just a little hole in the wall, it has a largepersonality. The restaurant has just enough flare with that fine simplicity you might expect. Check it out, this place needs tobe more popular! Read more
