Fowlers is known for their incredible barbecue, brisket, and smoked chicken? but did you know they make burgers? This is the... best cheese burger you can ever eat and I dare you to say different. This cheeseburger is made with 75/25 freshly ground brisketmeat, rolled in a housemade spice, then smoked. Next it is seared in rendered brisket fat. It is finished with American cheese, caramelized onions, housemade sauce, housemade pickles, and served ina brioche bun. Read more

I just have to start by saying WOW. I found Fowlers during a google search on a road trip and the hype is real. This is first... of all a veteran owned business (support our Vets!) and you can tell the care that goes into every part of the business from thefood to the customer service. There can be a bit of a wait and items can run out quickly as they are super popular due to thelimited hours and fantastic food - but trust me it's worth it. I got a pulled pork sandwich with fries and the broccoli salad. The pork was perfectly cooked and shredded and the sauce (I believe is called the Carolina Bee Sting) is super tasty. I got aside of the vinegar sauce, because I love my NC vinegar sauce since VA, SC, and other states just can't seem to get the spicesto vinegar ratios correct or maybe the aging process) and it was tempting to just straight up drink that sauce. I didn't. Butit was tempting. I did use it all on my fries as a dipping sauce though. Speaking of the fries - they are fatter fries likesteak fries but so much better. I like a bit of a sogginess to my BBQ place fries and this had it done right. My husbandreally like the broccoli salad too - but I didn't get a chance to taste that as I was too into the fries and dipping them in thevinegar sauce. Highly, highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area or just out searching for great BBQ places! Read more

Finally made it to Fowler?s Southern Gourmet and left extremely satisfied. We arrived right when they opened to avoid the crowd... (was still second in line), was pleasantly greeted by the owner, and then we placed our order. About ten minutes later, the foodarrived and we started to chow down. The ?hog wing? was a meaty shank coated with their signature bbq sauce and so tender, itabout fell off the bone. 10/10 The ?burnt ends? I consider melt in your mouth meat candy. It was so good I had to put in asecond order. 12/10 The sides were a great compliment as well, fresh cut fries, moist cornbread, and pretty good mac & cheese. Read more

Undeniably one of the best restaurants in Fayetteville. My pulled chicken was covered in the sauce of my choice (sweet&spicy),... but they have various options to suit any taste. The collards - are so delicious! The Mac n Cheese - Scrumptious! One of myfavorite local spots to dine. Read more
