Very tasty food and a very nice ambiance. Our server was very nice and attentive and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. I was... stuck between the sea bass and the shrimp and grits. She recommended the sea bass and it did not disappoint! It was so soft, moist, and buttery with a nice char on the outside. The only thing I would have changed was more of the delicious pink sherrysauce! My husband got the brisket and really enjoyed it. The Korean-style green onion (I forget the name) really rounded out thedish. We also got the crawfish Rangoon dip and it had really great flavor with nice, large pieces of crawfish Read more

There was a woman that stood at the counter beside our table almost the entire time we were there. Made me feel uncomfortable.... The food looked amazing but the taste wasn't there. I ordered the shrimp and grits and got sick not long after eating. I was soexcited to finally try this place but sadly all I got was a decent bill and sick. Read more

An amazing brunch location right in the middle of downtown Fayetteville, Circa 1800 had some of best quality and unique food... we?ve tried yet. Circa 1800 is open for brunch only on Saturdays and Sundays, with an exclusive menu for brunch and morningcocktails. They are open for dinners during some week nights and the weekend as well, which I look forward to trying. We gotthere around noon on a Sunday, and we had to wait about 45 minutes before being seated. While we waited, we were able to walkthe streets of Fayetteville and check out some of the local shops. They took down our seating preference and texted us when thetable was ready. The restaurant was modern, slightly industrial vibe with pops of color from paintings of downtown Fayettevilleon the walls. The tables are close together, but not close enough that you feel like you are on top of another party. There?salso outside seating with a street view and patio umbrellas. I had the brunch punch, which was delicious and topped with adried pineapple. We got the southern egg rolls, which is one of the appetizer favorites as well according to our server. Shesaid the fried green tomatoes were as well. The egg rolls were unique, filled with collared greens and pimento cheese, and redpepper jelly for dipping, a delicious pairing. We were also given complimentary muffins. For the meal, we both got the montecristo sandwich, which was cooked perfectly. The sandwich also came with a side of grits and a small tray of fruit. Our serverwas friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We saw another meal that was posted on Google, which had steak, potatoes, and eggs, and she confirmed that they had a recent menu change. She anticipated our needs and provided us with extra jelly to take homewith our leftovers. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I know we will be back again soon! Read more

First time enjoying a delicious brunch at Circa 1800 in Fayetteville. I am thankful to the hostess who informed us that the... outdoor sitting was off limits because of the excessive heat weather advisory. The restaurant does not take reservations so wesigned up in the waiting list, but it took less than 15 minutes to get a text message inviting us to go inside. We were greetedat the door by the hostess and then we were promptly ushered to our table by a young, polite waitress who indulged us with aplate full of mini muffins while our brunch was cooked. Food was delicious and we enjoyed the hearty Monte Cristo, fruit, andorange juice and the Shrimp and Grits for my wife. We want to come to Circa 1800 for another tasty and succulent experience. One of the most perfect brunch spots I've ever visited, and it happens to be tucked away among the small streets of downtown... Fayetteville! Was able to get a spot at the bar right away and had amazing service the entire time. They have a short and sweetselection of alcoholic beverages and food, but what they lack in quantity they certainly make up for in quality! A little priceybut 100% worth every penny. The mimosa was perfect (very on the pineapple, sweet-side) and the 1800 stack benny was possibly thebest breakfast meal in EXISTENCE! The incredible combo of egg, fried green tomatoes, and crab cake blew my mind (and some of thebest grits ever!). I'll be coming back here every Sunday I can! Read more

Had an amazing experience. The service was really good, the food was excellent, and the place is really cozy and cool. The menu... is really small but with just enough variety. I had the 'southern chicken parm' it was absolutely perfectly cooked andseasoned. I would recommend it to any and everyone! Read more

My husband and I dined outside/Sat. around 730ish with very little wait. The hanging lights and flamed heaters set the mood... perfectly. Our waitress (Raven) was very helpful in her knowledge of the menu. She was attentive in keeping our drinksrefilled and checked on us numerous times. We started out with the fried green tomatoes. (Cooked to perfection and perfectlyplaced on what seemed to be a collard leaf) We asked for bread and it too was tasty. Raven said we would enjoy the lemonbutter as well and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Salmon Curry. **menu description-** Pan seared/applecurry/carolina gold rice/root vegetable slaw/peanuts/sesame oil/herbs** Per my husband this dish was jam packed with flavor andadded that the slaw & small hints of peanuts along with the added cilantro was a delight to his tastebuds. For me, the Shrimpand Grits was an easy choice. **menu description **sautéed shrimp/stone ground grit cake/collards/bacon/vidalia onions/cream sauce/garlic chives.** At first glance you can see this is not your typical shrimp & grits. The grit cake alongwith cream sauce incorporated with all that other yummy goodness is just ah-mazing and you just can?t eat it all as the portionis huge. This will be so good to finish off later. We look forward to going back ! Thank you for a wonderful date night! Read more
